It offers direct beach access, an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi (open and heated from the beginning of May until the third week of September), secure private parking, and a coin-operated laundry room (washing machine/dryer).

La Tranche sur Mer is a family seaside resort that will reveal many facets to you. You will be able to discover the marshes, the forest, the beach... multiple landscapes which will not leave you indifferent.
Facing the Ile de Ré, La Tranche-Sur-Mer retains and cultivates its island character. We find there the charm of low houses with white walls and red tiled roofs; you get lost in the cobbled streets that intertwine to finally converge on the Grande Place in the center of the village.
13 km of fine sandy beaches, 8 of which face south, La Tranche-Sur-Mer is a succession of renowned spots for surfing, kite surfing, sand yachting and windsurfing. Windsurfers call it "Little California".
Four districts, four faces: The town center, La Grière to the south, the Lighthouse to the west and the Hameau de la Terrière.

Temps chaud et beau sur une vue magnifique de ka grande plage d ela tranche à deux pas du centre pietonnier. Logement conforme et top. Tres belle prestation seul bemol l'accès difficile avec les rues multiples en sens interdit.

Très satisfaite dans l'ensemble mais pas pour le balcon.

L'appartement était propre mais pas le balcon. Les plantes toutes sèches avec des feuilles pointues et piquantes, des toiles d'araignées près des plantes, des feuilles mortes au sol et le dessus du balcon sale et plein de toiles d'araignées. La personne sur place agréable et compétente.

Disappointing

Considering the new built and the price, this was disappointing. The appartment is very cheaply furnished. Very hard mattresses, uncomfortable seating, no useable oven, no washing machine. Expensive Towel/Bedlinen package, but no washing of those in 3 weeks possible. No effective sun shield on the balcony (it gets HOT). Outdoor seating hot in the sun, but not waterproof - after a rain it took days to dry. The appartment is advertiszed for 6 people, but it will get crammed for 4 already, and the bedsofa in the living room is certainly not fit for 2 people. Being the top appartment, it gets hot inside on warm days fast. Toilet flushing/refill takes forever, so plan to spend your time there. WLAN was not working yet, so we had to use a very slow and undependable mobile wifi box. The view is nice, but you are directly on the central beach which is crowded and loud, even at night, and especiall ywhen events are running. Very annoying were the agressive Lifeguards. Dogs are not allowed on the central beach at all, and lifeguards hunted us with motorbikes from hundreds of meters away even when we were out in storm and rain with the dog on the leash and zero people on the beach. Positive: People in the house and the agency were helpful and nice. Good to have a storage locker for surf equipment, Good shower. Parking is good. Anyway, not recommended.
