Miriam`s Retreat - Overlooking Lake Superior with Staircase Lake Superior Access!

Miriam’s Retreat is bound to be the highlight of your vacation. This 4-bedroom, 3-bath( including an outdoor shower) home away from home is ideal for hosting up to 10 guests. The main level has two queen bedrooms and A primary loft with a king.  The downstairs bedroom has a full bed and two twins.
The home is located about six miles from downtown La Pointe on North Shore Road.  This two-story home features an open concept design throughout the kitchen and living room area featuring a wood-burning fireplace.  Make more of every moment when staying at Miriam’s Retreat while enjoying the view from the wonderful deck and screened in gazebo, enjoy the spacious outdoor fire pit, perfect for settling around with family and friends or enjoy the large private dock with access to Lake Superior.

Lovely home with amazing location on Lake Superior. Dock was great for views and swimming off of. Lots of stairs, but really fine for anyone in decent condition. House was very clean, but a few furnishings could use upgraded. Older mattresses and older couch. Black mold issue in downstairs bedroom closet went unaddressed and lacking communication after we reported during our stay; that’s the reason for two stars.

Simonson/Farley Trip

Ten of us enjoyed the beautiful cabin for 3 nights! The cabin had all the amenities for adults and teens! We really enjoyed the fire pit and wrap around deck. We would have enjoyed the dock more if it hadn’t been such a hike back up the 100+ stairs!

Great get-away that accommodates 9-10 people

This large home is lovely and is placed in a rural setting surrounded by woods and Lake Superior. The views are breathtaking from the windows, decks and dock. Many steps down the dock and lake shore but truly worth it! Our group consisted of nine women who enjoyed the outdoors (hiking), spent a little time in the small town of La Pointe, and just gathering inside and out of this home. 6/13/23-6/16/23 Paula
