Check in was friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had what appeared to be mold along the grout and in corners. The storm door would be nice to have in the summer but it rattled and banged and looked like something that had been reused from a 1950s home. The furnishings were very dated. The heating unit fan turned on and off constantly. It was a very cold night so I was in no position to turn it off. The room rates were fairly exorbitant considering the small town location and amenities. Serious consideration must be given to improving this motel.

The bed was not comfortable, significant updates needed for the room, etc , to feel more comfortable. (Example: new pillows, bedding, a new mattress would have made a big difference) The staff were friendly, but then were upset to have to look for an extra pillow/ blanket. (There were none in the room). Overall not great for the price we paid for one night.

Liked the fact it was down town and they had a breakfast. The pool and the rooms need to be updated. There was mold in the bathroom and also by the air conditioning.

This was once a high end hotel....in the 70's. Only real place to stay in town and so they sort of corner the market. The room was clean. Small TV and you had to be an techno wizard to operate the remote. Seriously....they try their best but it is an aging property with no real upgrades being done.

It was a nice stay, things are a bit outdated, chipped, lifted paint in several places, bathroom floors were very cold, and the hot tub which is one of the reasons we chose there was out of service. But everything was clean, spacious and very comfy. Staff were great, made us feel very welcome, continental breakfast had lots of options. We will stay there again in the future when visiting this area.

I stayed here 2 nights for the rally of the tall pines. Its a great quick stop. The inn was clean and plenty of parking. The A/C heating unit was a bit loud and it was positioned right by the door so and high up so the hot air didnt get to the rest of the room. That can be fixed with a sliding attachment that goes left and right and up and down. Hot air rises. Other than that it was good. Quick stay for a low price.
