My 11y/o son and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Amazing area and convenient to Kyoto Station. Lots of options for eating in the area.

Very good hotel with small room

I liked the hotel it's close to the train station property is clean staff is nice. Room was little bit funny for me you have a sink in the room I have never seen it before and my first reaction was where is shower because after I got in the room I saw door on the right and was only toilet but there is another door on the left for shower not used of this kind of layout. Breakfast is mostly Asian food but there is bread too.

Very convenient location for Kyoto station. We used the shinkansen ro arrive in Kyoto and used the buses and jr lines extensively in Kyoto. Took a bus to Nagoya, the pickup point a 3 minute walk, if that, from the hotel. Virtually around the corner from the hotel, facing Kyoto station. The free welcome drinks from 1400 -2000 is a great relaxer after a day on your feet. Hotel laundry 300 yen for either washing or drying..pretty good.

Had higher expectations for this considering it was a 4-star hotel. Very clean and minimalistic. Loved the free tea for happy hour. Staff were helpful and super kind. The lobby area was beautiful and so was the room. Only complaint was no matter how long I waited, my sink never got warm or hot water. It was in fact ice cold and I came in December! There was no water or amenities in the room, amenities were downstairs and there just wasn’t any water. Very small room, almost didn’t have enough space and I don’t require a lot. Overall, decent place, just expected more for the price and 4-star rating.

Convenient and relaxing

This hotel is welcoming and bright from the arrival at Reception lobby. Staff are helpful and kind in a natural way. Free soft and alcohol drinks from afternoon until the evening. Nice range of toiletries to choose from by reception desk. Very nice room. Different layout to what I expected, more like a ryokan but smaller and within a modern structure. Very conveniently located at walking distance from Kyoto Station

THERE IS NO LAUNDRY FACILITY IN THE HOTEL!!! The laundry service won’t open on Sunday! While in the website advertised there’s laundry facility. The coin-laundry shop 10 minutes away. We stay in different hotels during our trip with about the same standard and advertising there are laundry facility or laundry machine in the room. Who needs laundry like me on Sunday will be hard. What’s a bummer!!! Staff overall are good! Walking distance location to station.
