Good hotel at a great price near the airport which was perfect for an overnight layover. Room and property kept neat and clean. The only things it missed was a TV (not a biggie) and a bar fridge. Otherwise a great place to stay

My Flamboyan Stay

This is my favorite hotel when visiting Bali. Not big and fancy, but small, comfortable, quiet setting with beautiful landscaping. Rooms are big and staff is very friendly.

The rooms were in dire need of a good clean and update. No basic amenities like a fridge. Breakfast was the same choice of three items for the week. The staff spent their time sleeping and watching movies on their phones in the reception area. On the plus side the location is good but I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Great location , very close walking distance to discovery mall, but away from the traffic noise. Next door have a rooster which is loud at times. Free breakfast was great and there are 3 options to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay Here, Perfect Intro to Bali

Beautiful, clean, and peaceful with warm staff, great breakfast, and really nice pool. Quiet and secluded away from loud and busy Kuta but walking distance to everything. So happy I stayed here.

Comfortable, pleasant place to stay

I have stayed here twice before. If you want privacy and you have a modest budget it is a great place to stay. It is quiet because it is down a lane but within walking distance of Discovery Mall and Waterbom Park. They have just finished a new eating area for breakfast that overlooks the pool. You have 3 choices for breakfast. I usually choose the nasi goreng, fruit platter and orange juice. Breakfast is freshly made when you order which I prefer to buffets where the food is lying around for a while.

For the amount you pay it's worth it but I'd say find a slighty more expensive hotel for more comfort. The bathroom looks like a public restroom at a swimming pool

Upon arrival no record of my booking could be found, it took 15 minutes check in. The internet very very poor and at check out the internet was down and it took another 15 minutes to ascertain as to if I had actually paid. Staff not very polite and very unprofessional..

Not very good

Good points: Nice garden, nice terrace, friendly staff who could organise some excursions. Very good location. Good and cheap warung near hotel. Nice pool. Bad points: No kettle, no refrigerator, no hairdryer. Toilet paper, soap and shampoo were given only on the first two days. We found hair in breakfast, about 5 hairs in our plates... A big cockroach, centipede... Ants were all the time. No chair and table - no place to work.

The Flamboyan Kuta

I stayed at the Flamboyan for 3 nights 14th June to 17th 2016 and my experience was pretty average. The room was not overly clean, adjusting the shower for hot water was like walking through a mine field getting it right. Also there was no fridge in the room which is a necessity when staying in a hot humid place like Bali. The tv only broadcast balinese channels which was a pain.

Its very much 2star but very clean with comfortable bed and not noisey No entrance gate but night-time security very friendly helpful staff the door lock went and they had to pick the lock and move me to new room. Pool lovely had it to myself basic but good egg breakfast cheap but comfortable

The Flamboyan - A great place to stay.

I've stayed at this hotel many times now. It is a little gem. Tucked away near Waterbom Park and close to great markets and shopping, it is incredible value. The rooms are clean enough. The bathrooms are adequate although my wife would prefer something a little more upmarket. You have to remember that you're paying less than $50 a night. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to look after you. The breakfast each morning is minimal but adequate and they bring it to your room. When you leave the hotel and head towards Jalan Kartika Plaza, there is a great little restaurant in the laneway that is incredible value and really good quality. I eat there often and it's nice and quiet. The pool is a little gem and you normally have it to yourself. You're close enough to the boats to get you out the back to surf the Kuta reefs and shopping nearby is great value. You even have a great shopping centre across the road if you want things a bit more upmarket.

When I arrived at night there was a problem with my check-in. I had booked a room for one night and paid for it. But they wanted me to pay and also for two nights. So it took a while until they realized they had confused me with someone else. Lucky for me I paid attention even though I had travelled and just got from the Airport. Other than that my stay was good. Clean room and comfy bed. The hotel was located a few minutes from the mainroad where all the restaurants are. So the hotel area were very quiet. In all a good stay.
