This hotel is located right in the middle of Petaling Jaya (PJ). It's an old hotel established when there was no hotel of this standard any where in PJ. The location is convenient whether you have to go to KL or around PJ area. It is just beside the Federal Highway which run from KL to Klang town. The rooms are big if you compare to new hotels now and nicely maintained. I have always love their breakfast spread in Paya Serai. You will get offerings from chinese, japanese to local malay breakfast. I love it when they offer their freshly bake croissant or danish at your table. The staff are great too. Very helpfull and attentive your needs. I had dinner there too. Took ala carte, and the food is good too. I would recommend this property to every one who ahve not stayed here before. A definite come back for me.
The road turning in, into the hotel is narrow. But the rooms are spacious with friendly hotel front desk staffs. The breakfast is good. Many other nice food are easily available just across the street.
PJ Hilton is an old hotel refurbished many times and kept up to market level. Great location for me personally since it’s not in the busy Kuala Lumpur city. Just out side the hustle and bustle of the busy traffic. First stayed in 1995 and ever since if I stay in a Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, it’s always been PJ Hilton. Great staff, great food, specially the breakfast and great ambiance, I would stay here again.
The Hilton PJ is a reliable and comfortable hotel. Breakfast has always been a stand out over the years with an excellent buffet although it may not be quite as good as it was. Only complaint is that the 25m pool is split down the middle by a lane divider so it's effectively 12.5m only meaning that you can't swim lengths.
Excellent hotel, good ambience. Great food. They serve indian food (TN, kerala) style, Include in BF. Good response & service at reception people & sevice people. Situated good center place in malaysia,. Must visit hotel, Thank you.
The hotel was very accommodating and flexible. Our travel times were not very good for check in but they let us in the room early. The room was very well appointed and clean. The pool area was lovely and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.
In the interest of fairness I must first say that other than the hotel’s failure to uphold their brand promise of making things right, the hotel is a decent place to stay. I arrived for the one night stay at about noon. As a Diamond Honors member, I was given an upgrade to a suite on the top floor (2138 I think). However, as the hotel was running close to full, I had to wait till about 3pm for the room to be ready. The suite itself was beautiful, dated but looks like it’s been recently refreshed. Unfortunately, being on the top floor, we heard loud banging sounds every 15 minutes or so from the rooftop. Not sure whether it was loose door or a maintenance issue. So we called the operator, complained, and asked her to get me the duty manager to call me back. This was about midnight. No one called. I again called and asked for the duty manager, but again was told that she will get the duty manager to investigate. That banging sound went on the whole night and no response from the hotel. I’d wish that the hotel could at least either explain or if as I suspect, they don’t have another room to move me to, to at least have the courtesy to say so. That’s what I’ve come to expect from a Hilton, prior to this incidence. Upon checking out, I’ve once again complained to the staff at the executive lounge, who without apologizing, promised to alert their management and to email me with a report. Again, that didn’t happen. I must have sounded like a cuckoo guest to these people for complaining about a loud noise above the room which resulted in a sleepness night. Just tell the cuckoo guest that the manager will investigate and ignore him. Except that this cuckoo guest spent over a hundred nights a year in hotels and never had to stay awake the whole night - till Hilton Petaling Jaya!
Stayed there last month and it was good. Location was convenient and the food and beverage was good too. Can recommend to stay there for a couple of days. Only focus to improve is to add more people to reception since waiting time to check in was quite long despite Diamond membership.
Had a great stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya ! The staff are friendly and attentive. Great customer service. Small gestures, such as remembering your name or knowing your favourite breakfast food, were greatly appreciated and made the stay very enjoyable. Ammenities were great, on-site gym was larger than expected.
