The location was excellent and the room was clean (although the shower door could have used a good scrubbing) and the breakfast and afternoon coffee were good, although the breakfast room was very crowded. I was given a room in the building around the corner, which had a 'lobby' that was like a doctor's waiting room set in a store display window. This would have been ok, but my room wasn't ready at check-in at 3pm and there was nowhere else to sit in that building while I waited. Since it was rainy weather, it would have been nice with a bucket of umbrellas in the lobby of the auxiliary building. Also, they didn't leave coffee/creamer/cup when they cleaned the room so I had to go over to the main building. No big deal, but on the whole the hotel didn't feel like good value for the money.

I stayed at the annex, which is a separate building ca 100 meters from the main building. The room was very basic, a little run down and had a stale, unpleasant smell. The bed was uncomfortable, actually felt a little bit like in a prison.. The price was outrageous for what was offered. The breakfast had a fairly good selection, but nothing exciting. The only thing that saves it from a worse rating was the professional and friendly staff in the reception.

Clean and comfortable with a very good bed. Strange smell in the corridor. A hotel from the seventies that deffentliy needs a gentle hand to go get its glory back. Convenient in the city center, with everything just five minutes walk away. Very nice breakfast with great variety of food.

I arrived just around 16:00, having parked my car just down the street where the pedestrian lane ends; on Sunday the parking is free.. bonus. Upon check in, I was informed that my room was in "Clarion #2" which was around the corner from the main hotel. But with breakfast and evening meal served in the main building I had asked if they could find a room there, which they did :). Service in Clarion hotels in Sweden has been exceptional. I was given a room on the 3rd floor and took the elevator up. My room was quite large, very basic with no frills, but I slept comfortably. The rooms could definitely use a remodel, but they are clean which at the end of the day is what matters. Breakfast and the evening meals were fine and there was enough choice to choose from. That is definitely another plus for this chain; not having to go "find" dinner after driving for hours on end or sight seeing is a bonus.

The hotel is convenient to everything in Vaxjo. It's a 5 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One of the hotel's best features is some of its people working at the front desk. There is a nice terrace for gathering with friends. And there's a sauna room. It was an easy walk to the sights we wanted to see. Also, there is breakfast and a light buffet dinner included.

Rooms were nice specially the location it's right in city center. breakfast was included and had a great variety of food. Very near to the railway stations and easy to plan to go anywhere in the town.

Stayed 10 nights and very impressed with everyone I was in contact with. Everyone spoke English!! The room was clean and comfortable. There was always someone at the front desk to assist in any way needed. Had trouble figuring out how the shower worked but once I mentioned it to the front desk he came up and showed me. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price of the room. Great not having to go out into the cold for breakfast! Everyone was very kind. Would definitely stay in this hotel if I go back to Vaxjo!

We visited this hotel few days back. The deluxe rooms are large and nice. Staff members are nice , specially Sanna. Extremely sweet and helpful . The only bad experience we had was with the laundry company the hotel uses. We were told that they only dry clean , no laundry . We gave a few underclothes and a couple of night suits . Were charged for SUITS . Paid more than 200 euros , inspite of explaining the hotel people . Such tie ups of good hotels with unscrupulous vendors , tend to get them a bad name .

Stayed here for a week in November. Lived alone in a room that felt spacious and clean, very good shelf in the bathroom to put your articles on, kettle with coffee and tea, TV, free wifi. The room was in a side building, check-in and dining room in the main building. So you have to go outside to get to breakfast and dinner, but it took only a minute to go. The breakfast buffet was good, the evening meal, or rather, the dinner was also good and included in the room rate. Very nice and accommodating staff. Coffee with something sweet is available around the clock in the foyer. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance to everything necessary.

Deep sleep in a very comfy bed. Cool view from the hotel room. The room itself was abit worn - something missing, needs some form av elevation in decor or such, boring interiour. The dinner is a big plus! very good mushroomsoup friday evening. Friendly staff.
