Radisson Blu Hotel, Krakow

I have had several stays for work at this very good mid-range property that is well located in Krakow for site seeing or business – very close to (a short walk up hill from), and many rooms with a fine view of, Wawel Cathedral (Katedra Wawelska) and Wawel Royal Castle, and in close proximity to (a short walk from) the Main Square of the old Town of Kraków (Rynek Główny, one of the finest public squares in Europe), and the banks of the Vistula River. The hotel lobby, bar, restaurant, common areas and rooms are up to date, with reasonably fresh décor and design, good amenities, and well designed and appointed, if cozy, rooms. The property is a very good choice for business or leisure stays. I have stayed in several rooms – each time high floor facing Wawel (see pics for sample rooms and views) – and each room was reasonably well seized for business travel if a bit cozy, and reasonable well appointed with King bed or two small beds, small occasional table and chair, desk and desk chair, flat screen TV, mini bar, small closet with safe, hangars, ironing board, coffee maker. Bed comfort and linen are good, if not excellent. Décor is clean, contemporary, pleasing if not lux. Each room was well serviced and clean. The only down note was that the ACs were off in the late night and early morning, so the rooms can become stuffy. The baths were suitable, and good if not great, with commode, single sink vanity, and bath/shower combo in single room; LED / fluorescent lighting, shaving mirror and hair dryer attached to wall, lower end sundries / toiletries (as at each Blu property), and not very good / lower mid range towels / linens. The tub step over for entry to shower, movable glass partition (versus curtain or other design), and nature of the shower fixture (again, common to Blus I have sampled), combined with low water pressure make this the least successful aspect of the room(s). Food was good – enjoyed the asparagus risotto, chicken. Room service was reasonably fats and very warm, friendly, efficient. Laundry services, including expedited service, is available. Ice machines are on alternating floors in elevator bay. Service overall was fine, though the front desk can have long queues when tourist buses are embarking / disembarking. All in all, this is a comfortable, reasonably priced mid-market property that is recommended for a business or leisure stay in Krakow.

Centrally located, awesome views and excellent staff. Pros-Nice rooms, very clean and great bath products. We had a nice view of the park and the staff at the front desk were so friendly. We sent out for some clothes to be cleaned, and they were back by the end of the day. Prices weren't bad either. Lobby was nicely decorated and had places to sit and relax and visit with others. Cons-The restaurant was always closed for private parties. We opted to sit in the bar area one night and ordered from the bar menu. Service was way too slow considering it wasn't very busy. I would think a hotel like this would have a conference room to accomodate large groups to eat in. Had we known restaurant was closed, we would've eaten in town. If I'm ever back in Krakow, I would stay here again!

We were in Poland for a wedding and needed somewhere to stay for our 24 hours in Krakow afterwards. The hotel was easy to find and we were greeted by friendly reception staff. Despite being almost 2 hours early we were able to check in straight away. We hadn't booked breakfast and were offered the business class upgrade which included this and once we saw the room we knew we had made the right choice! It was spacious, well equipped and spotless, and the bathroom was amazing! The hotel was nice and quiet and staff were happy to help. I enjoyed the breakfast the next morning- lots of choice. We didn't get a chance to try out the pool or the hotel bar. The hotel is just down the road from the castle, and a 5 minute walk to the Old Square where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, and the area felt so safe. This was our first trip to Poland, and we will definitely be returning to Krakow, and hopefully to this hotel.

We picked the Hotel as we know the chain, but it was quite better than what we expected. Nice lobby, air conditioned, refreshing in a hot summer. Rooms are comfortable and large comparing to oldtown centers hotels all over Europe! Will come again!

Clean and comfortable this hotel is located perfectly to explore Krakow. The rooms and facilities are up to date. The food, both for breakfast and the restaurant, was too notch. Prices were reasonable.

very good location and excellent staff very good breakfast and wonderful rooms with very comfortable bed with great choice of different pillows. would certainly stay here again and would heartily recommend

Easily one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in. The concierges were wonderful - helpful, thoughtful and informative. The hotel is in a great location and the room itself was excellent and kept very clean. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. In summary a fantastic hotel and one I would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Krakow.

We booked interconnecting rooms and were not disappointed. Rooms are big and fully equipped, and clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly. Great feature is the location: very close to the castle and just a few minutes walk from the main square. Hotel is located in a quite spot, which is perfect.

Truly enjoyable experience staying here. The room had everything we would need, the furnishings were very nice. Centrally located to the castle and old town square. The city is easily covered from here by walking, if walking isn't your thing there are golf cart tours and horse drawn carriages that take you around to the different attractions also.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was only a few blocks from the main town square, and directly across the street from a lovely park. While we were there (which was July of 2017) a spanish soccer team was also there with their body guards...so if they thought it was enough for their winning team that has to say something for the hotel as well.. The staff themselves were efficient and wonderful. The rooms were clean, and they bought up a 3rd bed for my friends kid right away. We did not eat there however on their plan for breakfast because we fel the price of breakfast was too expensive, so we found literally aroung the corner a small local place called Gossip Cafe.We did wish this hotel had a pool. As a side note: Also while there check out Ryneck Underground in the town square.
