Great service! Great staff! And great facilities as usual. Love Radisson! Will be back even if it's just for drinks. We love the service and has been to Radissons from South Africa to Poland. Always a good stay and a good experience!
Krakow is an extraordinary city and staying at the Raddison Blu made our trip even better. The staff is incredible - especially Lucas - and the breakfast is to die for! The hotel is close to the main square and they will help you create day trips as well.
I had an extremely convenient and comfortable stay. Had a restful night - just perfect. The hotel welcomed me with a good local beer and chocolates. The room was very spacious and had everything to make me comfortable. I found the staff to be highly professional.
First of all, I would like to thank Angelika and the rest of the staff for making our holiday success! They catered for all the requests I have made and everything just flowed. The Location is just perfect! It's less than 5 minutes walk to the Old Town and Wawel Castle. We had the Business Class Room and it was just perfection! The room was cleaned on a daily basis and the beds was so comfy!! Made it very difficult to get out of bed every morning! The turn down service was incredible and a lovely touch with the chocolates they left us every night. During our stay I had cupcakes and brownies delivered to the hotel and prior to arrival I have asked Angelika if they could decorate the room for our arrival on Sunday after sightseeing and upon returning the room was beautifully decorated and they even left us a cake in the room from the hotel. It was truly amazing and I cant be faulted! The breakfast was a little disappointing and we didn't enjoy it as much. Fresh omelettes, eggs and bacon can be ordered fresh in the kitchen which was great but not sure why the bacon has to be ordered as it wasnt freshly cooked. The options could be better. On our final morning we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. All in all, our experience with the hotel was amazing and will definitely be staying here again upon our return to this gorgeous city!! Thank you for all the staff who made our stay so memorable! It was definitely a birthday to remember!!
This was a well operated hotel well located steps away from Old Town with its impressive square, cloth hall, and Wawel Castle/Cathedral. The hotel was clean, quiet, and accommodating with an ample breakfast buffet to start the day. The only glitch was an unexpected heat wave which made the room a little too warm. Otherwise a perfect starting point for your Krackow exploration.
Excellent time had in the hotel with all staff exceptional; and well presented out. Friendly, efficient and most welcoming. Hotel was immaculate from the front door right up to and including all amenities within the room, corridors and lifts.
This is a nice hotel . Stayed 3 nights. Not that impressive of a lobby but the negative ends there. Location is strategic , not in Old Town , not in Market Square , but it only takes a leisurely 10 minute walk to reach . Outside there are several convenience shops and restaurants which offer diversity in cuisines. A theatre hall is just beside the hotel , and what elates me is the city tour buses park right in front of the hotel . Rooms are nice , quite spacious for typical European standards . Very functional , it has all the amenities that I ever aspire . From the flat screen Tv ,stable and cool AC , iron and coffee machine . Beds are comfortable and huge . Mini bar was well stocked. As for the bathroom , shower is in the tub , and the toilet had no bidet however. Mine where I stayed is in a “ business class “ room , it is not a suite . Just a few steps outside are automated shoe polish and an ice machine for those wanting colder drinks. They have a “ super “ breakfast buffet in the ground floor , and it was indeed such. From the fresh ingredients made of high quality , doesn’t even compromise in quantity. From the starters such as salad , cheeses , sausages and even more of the latter in the main choices, you can be spoilt . The cereals , pastries, assorted juices , coffee options and fresh fruits can make you go through your day . A nice extra is the option for a la carte omelet , eggs to your liking and even bacon. Service is fast, even on a busy hour . They are ready , and I mean that. I didn’t use the gym in the basement . I’m not sure if they have a swimming pool either. But the WiFi is complimentary, and quite fast . The staff service from the breakfast area , and the front desk is worth mentioning. They seem eager to serve without being intrusive. I enjoyed my stay , it was indeed one of the better modern hotels I have tried in Europe.
nice hotel, although the comfort of the beds needs improvement. location on the border of the old city is great. though no view on the river and no roof terrace or garden. strangely no pool for a 5 star hotel?
We often have special requests, and it provides peace of mind when a hotel's concierge or reservation desk assures you weeks before your trip that they can handle your requests. The Raddison Blu Krakow staff promptly and sure-footedly responded to all of our requests in advance of this trip to Europe, letting us know it would be a wonderful stay in Krakow. And it was. We enjoyed Krakow and we enjoyed the service at the Radisson Blu. Other nice points: as Radisson Rewards Gold members, thanks to my US Bank Radisson Signature Visa card, we were only charged 36 PLZ ($9.75, in May of 2018) for the buffet breakfast, versus the listed price of 70 PLZ. The hotel bar also honored the 15% discount advertised by Radisson Rewards for Gold Members (but not always honored, I have found, if you do not have your Radisson Gold Member card present, which of course I never have with me). All-in-all, it was a delightful stay. A restful stay in a quiet, large and well equipped room.
I had to stay for one night in this hotel as my current hotel was fully booked. Overall, the stay was ok but the room was quite small. The breakfast spread was also limited and I think they are under staff. Lots of improvement opportunities I must say to keep the guests stay more memorable.
