Excellent hotel and staff were very friendly - with the upgrade to deluxe double room and even though tram noise was loud it didn’t really affect us. One star off as the one evening we planned to eat at the restaurant it was closed for a private function and breakfast was free but buffet layout was poor (long queue for single coffee machine and toaster). Would recommend hotel location also as it is between large mall and Old Town

Great location.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable but the pillows were way too soft and went flat immediately. Breakfast was fine, decent selection. Front facing rooms hear the trams and they can be loud. Great location for the old time, train station and large shopping mall, all easy walking.

Even better the second time

This was our second stay at Hotel Polonia and it was even more wonderful than our previous visit two years ago. Service is courteous and polite. All of our questions were answered cheerfully and accurately. Location cannot be beat. If traveling by train, Krakow Główny station is a short walk. Public transportation is right outside the door to take you to the area of Schindler's factory, the botanic gardens and Jewish quarter. Old Town is a quick walk across the park. Breakfast is exceptional. Hot and cold foods, pastries etc. In my opinion, staying in a hotel that is over 100 years old, has the charm of times gone by speaks for itself. Our room was extra special it was noted and very much appreciated. When in Krakow, we will stay at Hotel Polonia again.

Superb hotel, fantastic staff and perfect location

I am blown away by this amazing hotel - the location, rooms, staff! I am surprised this is rated as a 3 star hotel - it has all the beautiful qualities of a superior hotel. We had to leave at 4 am and restaurants staff allowed us to pack our own breakfast to go and it meant the world. Not only that, they also offered juice and water as we were leaving (as part of our breakfast to go). I really appreciate your kindness and helpfulness and can’t wait to be back!

Great location. Shopping Mall across for hotel. Walk through mall to get to train station. Guided tours pick up about 80m from hotel. Good size room. Very clean. Slept well. Can hear the trams at night but lucky for me I am not a light sleeper. Did not go for the breakfast option as we were out early every morning.
