Beautiful hotel with a little wear. Staff was wonderful. Only issue, it’s right on tram line with a stop next to the hotel. A little noisy with open windows. Ask for an upper level room. Easy 10 minute walk to main train station so easy access to travel.

Stunning room with balcony and an amazing view of Planty Park, in a beautiful hotel steeped in history. Excellent, varied breakfast, with a range of fruit, cooked, buffet-style food, cereals and delicious pastries. All staff were efficient and polite. Restaurant staff were particularly friendly and the evening meals are also delicious. Cleaning staff were also accommodating. The trams are noisy, so ear plugs are recommended. So close to Old Town, shops and mainline station. Very good value.
