Abella Suites & Apartments

I booked these apartments for me and my friends, 3 couples, and was quite pleased with the choice. 2 out of the 3 apartments were huge, the smaller room was still sufficient for our needs though - it really was just a base to rest our heads at the end of the day exploring and drinking. Checking in/out was easy enough (at the sister hotel across the road), a member of staff took us across and explained everything to us. It was long before we quickly unpacked and off we went. POSITIVES WERE: The beds were big and extremely comfortable. Toiletries were a nice touch Breakfast was nice and set us up for the day. Free WIFI which was very good MINOR NEGATIVES WERE: No milk but there was coffee and a kettle No ironing facilities but said there was on the booking The only downside I would say is the noise from the trams which run right outside the hotel, not much we can do about that but it didn't ruin our stay. There are a number of steps up to the apartments and might be difficult for those less mobile, there is a lift but we were told this was out of order so which might be difficult for those in a wheelchair or who struggle with the stairs. The rooms are about a 10 minute straight line walk to the main square which is convenient when you are in a strange city. Would I recommend? Yes Would I stay here again - don't think so, I do like to try different places and the Jewish Quarter had more going on.

Rooms were very good and near to the square. Staff were very helpfull, everything was clean and the breakfasts were excellent. If you are in the rooms on the croad side there is some noise from the trams. It was not a problem for us.

Abella was convenient to Main Square, five minute walk and through a lovely park. Impressed with the apartment, excellent all round place. Heat, hot water, great shower, clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Wonderful helpful staff.

Rated with 5 stars because the value for money is over all! It's not perfect but it's very honest. Extremely spacious with excellent breakfast. Some cleanliness issues regarding walls and furniture and some small difficulties accessing the room couldn't reduce our satisfaction from this accommodation. TIP: do not ask for excursions at the reception, their partner is extremely expensive. Great value for money, central, spacious. We loved it.

The Abella Suites Apartments are spacious rooms. They are older and could use an update, but they are clean and mostly comfortable. There is no refrigerator if you want that in an apartment. Also there is no air-con. If you're on the street side, it is VERY noisy from the street cars, it will be difficulty to sleep at night. The location is great, about a 5-10 minute walk to the old center city. The staff are AMAZING, they are very kind and helpful; they were great at helping us book day trips. The breakfast offers some warm scrabbled eggs (a tad runny), as well as the typical cold meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal and yogurts. Krakow is a GREAT city that offers so much to see, do and experience - it must NOT be missed if you are traveling through Poland.

Stayed 3 nights with a friend. Good value, good location just outside the old town, staff is friendly and helpful. Room is made up everyday but complementarys only given on arrival. The breakfast buffet is tasty and fresh. Only thing is that we would had appreciates information about that the reception is located across the street at yard hotel, which caused us confusion when we arrived late at night to a locked gate. Luckily I was able to call them, but what if I hadn't been able?

Recommended! For the claimed price you get more than expected. Walls and furniture a bit aged but I wasn't expecting any shining decoration in low-cost hotel. The bathroom though was great! New and fancy! Rooms are always clean and we received hot drink pack everyday, which is really nice of them. Breakfast - outstanding. Really, no words how good it is. Standard of 4 stars hotel. Since I'm a smoker, personally for me - balcony was another great benefit. Location - 10 minutes walk and you in the old town. No need for taxi or buses or whatever. Disadvantages. Since our room was on the street side, and there is tram running and buses and horse carts, it gets pretty loud at some point. Me and my wife are deep sleepers so it didn't bothered us but someone else could be disturbed by that fact.

The furniture (bed and couch included) should be changed. It was not clean enough:( As an allergic person, i couldnt even sleep. The location is not bad, but there are so many possibilities much more near to the old city, so the location can not be the only reason to stay here. Breakfast was served by the cafe outside, at the opposite side of the road, and it was well-prepared, thanks to the staff!

I just love Kraków! I've been there so many times and this time I've decided to stay in Abella Hotel. It was short stay, but in very nice and stylish place. Apartment was big and tidy. Great idea with wine bottle opener there :) the lady on the reception was very nice and helpful. Hotel is situated 8/10 minutes from the heart of Kraków and on wedding dresses street!

At £40 p night in sept good value. Stayed in room 19 for 4 nights. A single room for a single traveller. At the back so quieter. Basically furnished but clean and reasonably comfy. Good heating if reqd but no aircon for summer. Shower good Kettle, and water but would have liked a fridge and safe in room. Room/Apartment felt reasonably secure. Breakfast in Oleander across road was very good although space could be limited at busy times.Coffee good and pancakes very nice. From 7 till 10 so plenty time. 10 to 15 mins walk from station and as others have said check in across road at Yarden where left luggage facility if reqd. Polite efficient staff who spoke good English. 10 to 15 mins from old town.
