I had never stayed in Ao Nang before but flew down to catch up with people from Australia who visit regularly. I chose the hotel from the photos on the site, and the reviews.
I was not disappointed. In fact, I have decided - on my next trip later this month to Phuket to hire a car to drive to Ao Nang and stay another three nights with another flyover from Australia.
We intend to see the various sights outside the town and enjoy the many, many restaurants and bars later in the evening.
The staff were polite, the place spotless, the price competitive, and the whole place was convenient to walking around (I use a walking stick) and, as a bonus, there is a laundry service, a hair and beauty salon, and a tattoo shop all in the soi leading off the main road to the main entrance.
It needs a better sign out on the main road but Google Maps finds it easily.
