Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort was like spending 6 days in a wonderful dream. I cried when I left because I just wanted to stay. We were a bit hesitant after seeing some of the reviews about the staff and building maintenance. The Thai sun and the sea are very harsh on a building but, despite that, I thought the resort was maintained very well. And the staff treated us like royalty. Toom was a gem; she was so attentive to our every need! Our family of 4 stayed in a 2-bedroom beachside villa and it was, honestly, the most beautiful and amazing location we have ever experienced. The villa felt luxurious and spacious with plenty of space for our two teens to get comfortable. Tubkaek Beach is quiet and full of natural beauty (just how we like it). We rented a paddleboard and kayak, the kids chased crabs on the beach, and a couple of monitor lizards ambled in the yard as we played in our private pool. We came away completely refreshed and reinvigorated. Thank you!!!

This location is a 4 star resort, but it didn’t feel that way at all. We were always treated like royalty and the staff was amazing. I loved our 2 bedroom, kitchenette, walk out patio with pool. It then walked directly out to our private beach, which was very clean. The beach bar and restaurant were also just feet from our patio. So convenient! The food and drink was amazing. The view from the breakfast restaurant was additionally breathtaking. It was a beautiful treat every morning. My bed was very firm and a bit uncomfortable for my stiff back, but the other bed was softer. We really had no need to leave the resort unless we wanted to sight see. I visited during the rainy season in June and it only rained periodically. However, the rain never lasted long and nor did it prevent us from doing the things we wanted to do. On site travel coordinators assisted with private island tours with authentic long mirror boats that picked us up right from our resort. No driving to other sites was necessary. When we wanted to visit Ao Nang. The resorted coordinated a driver for us to travel to and from our destinations. If you’re looking for the quieter side of Krabi, with less tourism and private attention, then Tubkaek beach is the destination for you.

Standards of the hotel remain the same since 9 years ago and they made improvements to their infrastructure and facilities. Customer service from front desk to resturant to poolside to conceige were tip top. Never a wrong choice to stay here for the peace and tranquility. View of the sea and mountains are magnificent!

Holiday magic

Wonderful stay. Hotel has huge potential and staff is extremely friendly, however with training can be exceptional. The language barrier is problematic. The restaurant at the beach needs a well trained English speaking manager to run logistics. Meals ordered are not served at the same time to the table and food is cold. The beach is not ideal but tge sunsets amazing. Overall loved our stay thank you.

Terrible service on our first night trying to get a table for dinner, really poor show asking us to kick someone off a table. Food was awful too, got woken up to go pay 1 day before checkout, could not get me the activities requested. Much better hotels either side of this one, avoid if you really want to enjoy

Love the beach and pools. So relaxing! The resort is right on the beach which I noticed that some of the other resorts had to cross a road to get to the beach. Quiet and easily found our way to many adventures.

Lovely resort at an affordable rate

Just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay here. The staff are very friendly and the resort is well kept. The highlight is the view and location.easy enough to rent a long tail boat to the islands for around 1800 baht for three hours. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay on the beach then this is the place for you. Recommend a rental car as it’s a long way from Ao Nang and tuk tuks would be expensive if you wanted to venture out every night. We’ve already booked up for Easter vacation.

The rooms were a big disappointment. They were large but very dated. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever had at any hotel ever. I would compare the beds to one you would have in a pull out sleeper sofa. Definitely not what I was expecting for the rating of this hotel. The view was the only nice thing about the room. I would never book a stay here again.
