I went to Mitsis Summer Palace for 2 weeks, 10th July - 24th July and it was the best holiday ever! I had a good connection with the staff they all make you at home and the food was amazing! The hotel rooms were amazing and were cleaned everyday and you would always have something to drink in the fridge. There is quite a lot of attractions and things to do around Mitsis Summer Palace so it's a great place to go, for families couples and friends! I highly recommend it and want to go back next year.

This place is honestly incredible!!! Me and my partner visited kos just over a month ago now and stayed in this gorgeous hotel! After reading the handful of bad reviews of this place we was apprehensive on what the hotel was like but once staying there we really couldn't understand any of the bad reviews at all?! Firstly our flight got into kos in the evening and it was a very short transfer away! We arrived to the hotel late at night very hungry and we was greeted by reception who told us they had prepared us a dinner and it was in our room in the fridge so we didn't go hungry for the night! We was very welcomed! The mini bar in your room is also all included in your all inclusive! The beach is so close and just two simple lifts with amazing views down to the beach! Two amazing a la carte restaurants, one situated on the beach are both included in your all inclusive stay! The cocktails are lovely inside the hotel bar and the beach bar! Our room was stunning, such lovely views and AMAZING air conditioning that we woke up chilly! All the staff was so lovely and the food in the hotels restaurant was very nice with lots of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is also a mini market shop inside of the hotel which is very handy! The pool outside is very clean and enjoyable and the adult pool is beautiful! The hotel it's so close to the town just a cheap bus ride away! I would highly recommend hiring out a quad bike for the day for just 39 euros from rentalmotos which is situated in the hotel lobby! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Cant say enough good things about this place! Can't wait to return!

All included, great service. Main restaurant's for is amazing, also two other restaurants: Greek and Italian. For roger of you who like Coffee - you can get really good capuccino and espresso at the lobby bar. Rooms very Nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.

What can I say, been going to Summer Palace in May for past 11 years! Normally go elsewhere in September/October but always wish I was at Summer - so this year going back again October! Okay, the decor may be a bit dated but the hotel is kept spotlessly clean & well maintained. Have seen many improvements over the years and it is slowly being modernised - new TVs in the rooms & better beach access. This year wooden walkways on beach is so much better than walking on the stones. This year there was also waiter service on the beach - what more could you want! Always found the staff to be exceptionally friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Sometimes they do have to put up with moans & complaints & even irate guests! There is a great variety of food at every meal. When I hear people say there's no choice I do wonder what they eat at home! I personally think this hotel offers exceptional value for money! I never compare it to a 5* anywhere else in the world, some of which I have stayed in and had to pay for every extra - sun loungers, umbrellas, drinks etc. So yes I would definitely recommend this hotel & I for one can't wait to go back!!!

The hotel is absolutely stunning. We had such a great relaxing time and it's fab being able to stay by the pool or the beach. Free kayaking and pedalos were great for the kids and there were plenty of other water sports for them to try. Took a trip into the town which was gorgeous too. Our room was really lovely, splendid view. Only one downside to the holiday was the entertainment. Hardly any entertainment during the evening so atmosphere was dull! There were some hotel reps who were EXTREMELY arrogant and very rude. Especially on the night of the 'white party' at the club. They were very rude only intent on showing off in front of the girls who work at the other hotels as there are clearly Romances there! Very very unprofessional.

The hotel had a spectacular view, we had a lovely large room overlooking the sea. There was a good selection of dishes to choice from in the buffet restaurant, but some of the food could have been hotter. We booked a meal at the Italian Restaurant and also the Greek Restaurant, in our opinion the Greek Restaurant was the better of the two, the chef put a new twist on cod and chips which was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and appreciated when you tried to speak in Greek. A special thank to you to Mika, Reception Desk who greeted us with a warm welcome and was extremely helpful and good ambassador for the Summer Palace.. Thank you Katie, the House Maid who kept our room clean and tidy and always greeted us with a smile. A big thank to the lady (Nich.....? sorry if I got her name wrong) who waited on between 4pm and 12 midnight, she is very professional and helping me to perfect my conversational Greek. David, Hungary from the Entertainment Team engaging with all the holiday makers and encouraging them to join in activities. Although there were two lifts to the beach, there were still a lot of steps to take, so not ideal for anyone with mobility and you needed two people to carry a push chair. The indoor swimming pool stated it was for adults only, but there were mainly children and not supervised and the area leading up the stairs was slippy. Apart from the seating in reception the seating outside was at a premium and not enough to cope with demand. I would suggest that part of reception was made smaller and the outside space made larger. Entertainment in the hotel was non existent unless you went down to the big theatre 10 mins walk which was mainly children's entertainment. There was big queues at the bar as it appeared the head barman liked to serve the customers on his own and did not want help and the other staff were trying to look busy. There should always be a minimum of 3 staff serving on busy periods. We caught a local from outside the hotel to Kardemena Town twice, it has a good selection of restaurants, bars, shops and the marina. Cost was 3.8 Euros for 2 people. There are taxis and they cost 10 Euros. On the whole we had a relaxing holiday.

Excellent stay at the hotel. The staff were all excellent they could not have done enough for you. Marios, kostas, Georgios Giannis_chalkitis, vasililis, katrina and Sofia illie( Albanian) vlodomia(Ukrainian) and christos at the pool bar all brilliant made our stay so much more enjoyable. The Greeks are always polite hardworking and fun loving. The rooms were cleaned every day and we're spotless. Food very well cooked different every day. Delicious Stonebaked Pizzas on tap on the beach, free canoeing and pedalos. Italian restaurant was fabulous. All the staff there were great can't remember their names but they were worthy of note. Fridge topped up every day. Thoroughly recommend it.

Room was located up a steep hill , but to be fair it probably did us good ,as we could both do with the exercise! Room was ok clean and comfortable, overlooking lovely easy accessible pool, food and drink was well worth the price of the holiday, beach was kept spotlessly clean by the hard working hotel staff. There was easy access to the beach by a lift. Some lovely terraces to sit and relax on with a gin and tonic in hand. We used public transport to get around which you can gain access to outside hotel reception. All in all we had a lovely stay here . The only moan I wouldn't have , is if you like to have a stroll in the evening it requires a bit of effort !

We stayed here in July, it was very hot! We had a speedy check in process and a porter took us and our baggage to the room. The room was very clean, we had an amazing sea view room, it was just beautiful. The pool area was nice and just as you would expect, with the staff occasionally bringing food and drinks to you. Plenty of sun beds, all seemed to clean and working. We went down to the beach, its gravel like and not sandy, which is good as we don't like sand getting all over us! The snacks there were spot on too. The inclusive meals were fab, always something to eat. The desserts were amazing! Such a great selection, it was hard to stop eating them. The only issue we had in terms of meal times were the drinks, only fruit juices were available to collect yourself, you had to wait for a waiter to come for any other drinks. They have a lot to do and were non stop, so sometimes we'd finished our meals before drinks arrived. It wasn't a big problem but perhaps a different system would be better. The entertainment team clearly work hard, it was all good stuff and plenty for everyone. I had a Indian head massage at the Blue Domes spa which was really good, I'd highly recommend going to the spa. We also went on a boat trip excursion, we had a really great day out so I'd recommend the agean cruise trip too. Overall we don't have a bad thing to say about the hotel, and I don't understand the people who have spoken ill of the place, it was a delightful holiday! Thank you to all the staff

Very good and service. Amazing view!! And an excellent animation team with the best activities, you never got bored! We was 19 people, from age 5-51 and everyone had fun Cause They have so many thing for all ages
