Stayed here in October with my 3 children, parents and siblings. We had 2 rooms with private pools. They were both lovely and clean. The pools lit up at night and looked beautiful. They were unfortunately freezing cold so we couldn’t really use them but I’m sure they are lovely in the summer. The only other bit that wasn’t nice was everyone sitting right outside them. For private pools, it wasn’t very private but hey ho. They hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much bother. As a party of 8 we thought at times sitting for dinner would be an issue but it wasn’t at all. Half the time they would have a table ready for us! The waiters were brilliant with the kids also. Shout for Efi the pancake lady. Made my boy pancakes everyday and even sent some to our room when he couldn’t make breakfast one morning. Service like that is outstanding! Highly recommend visiting the Italian also! The bar was good with VERY generous measures. Cocktail menu is very limited which is a shame but there is plenty else to drink. Generally we cannot fault the hotel. It’s a pleasant walk to the beach, the pools although cold were lovely. The grounds are beautiful and we found everywhere clean. Highly worth a visit!
Very nice hotel; kind staff and animation. Very good food; enormous hospitality. Feels like coming home. We went there for the sixth time, and we wil probably return. Animation is nice; activities for all ages. The beds on the beach are superb; hopefully they will place the same beds at the pools.
It was my third time in the Ramira Beach and I will come back again The room was cleaned every day. The whole Staff is very friendly. Special thanks to the animation team! The food and drinks were very good. The beach chairs on the beach are very comfortable.
Booked through Thomas Cook and stayed 10 nights at the Ramira Beach. Could not fault the hotel. The room was very nice and very comfortable, bathroom great. Room had a balcony with table and chairs and was very pleasant overlooking gardens a one of the pools. Entertainment was very good both day and night. Food varied and very good. Paid for an all inclusive package which was good value for money. Mini bar in room restocked every other day and was included in the package. The hotel was situated just outside of Kos Town, about 10 mins on the bus, which is very cheap and frequent. Would definitely consider visiting again.
Spent two weeks in August at this Hotel and it was a great place to relax. Something for everyone here with 3 totally different pools. The lively one with the entertainment team, a kids pool and a quiet pool. Rooms - We had a room at the end of a corridor with a balcony that overlooked both the gardens and the sea. It was spacious (for three) and well equipped. We arrived very late at night and the fridge had not been set up so there was no water in the room but on contacting reception it was quickly rectified. The rooms were regularly cleaned and the inclusive mini-bar regularly restocked. Restaurants - The main buffet restaurant had a good selection and the service was excellent and no waiting for drinks. At busy times you may have to queue for a table but it never got to extremes. Within the main restaurant you could book the Asian and Italian restaurants and we tried both. My favourite was the Asian but both were of a good standard. The beach bar/snack bar was a great place for lunch. Beach - A pebble beach with vast numbers of sunbeams. The sea can be quite choppy here so car is needed with small children but the water was warm and clear Location - The Hotel is at the end of the main road heading south from Kos Town (approximately 2 miles) but close enough for a leisurely stroll into Kos. The staff and entertainment team certainly make this Hotel and cannot do enough to make your stay both fun and enjoyable. This is the 2nd Mitsis Hotel we have stayed at and I am sure it won't be the last. Kos is probably one of the quieter Greek Islands which was what we were looking for and this Hotel offered whatever you needed to have a relaxing or an active time.
We travelled to Kos in early October. We are very boring and tend to go to Greece every year but this was our first time in Kos. We were slightly disappointed with the island compared to others as there was less to see and do and a lot that we would have like to do was closed, I believe due to the earthquake in the summer so not much that you can do about that. We arrived at the hotel in the middle of a very small earthquake so everyone was out of their rooms outside. The staff were incredible. They were so calm and handing out lemonade to arriving guests and moist towels. It was very late when we arrived and due to flight times we had eaten lunch a long time ago and missed dinner. However, we were directed in to the dinner hall where supper was waiting for us (supper was on every night from after dinner until 2am, we had supper every night). The hotel is located right by a bus stop and you can buy tickets in to town from the reception desk. You can also rent bikes from outside and their is a lovely coastal path you can ride along away from traffic. Would definitely recommend. The food was amazing. Both myself and my partner are vegetarians and normally travelling we find our options are limited. Not at this hotel. We were spoilt for choice every meal time. We also tried the Chinese restaurant one night. It was incredible! The cocktails were not that great at the main bars but the small pool bar was great in the evening. It was peaceful with most guest preferring to watch the entertainment and the gentleman serving cocktails at this bar was the best. Best cocktails I have ever had! The little pool was also lovely during the day. We went on a very windy week and it was perfectly sheltered from the wind and the sun moved to cover the whole pool by mid day. The room itself was clean and felt brand new with a mini fridge refilled every other day. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I could not rate this hotel high enough and do it justice. It gave us the relaxing time we needed away.
Great hotel with lovely food and fantastic staff. Brilliant value for money. Like other Mitsis hotels the management is always visible and approachable. Rooms would benefit from new soft furnishings. The buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. Booked in the Italian to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary and the waiters Panagiotis and Albio made it extra special by decorating our table with flowers and arranging a special dessert. Thank you so much boys - you made our night.
Room 237 is amazing. There was really big, comfortable bed. Fridge was refilled every 2 days. Bathroon near room. Towels were changed every day. Room equipment coffe, tea, sugar also refilled every day. Breathtaking view from balcony. Worth recommending.
We stayed for two weeks End September to first week of October. Overall hotel absolutely lovely, food very very good. Exceptional staff, I do not know what you pay them but they deserve a bonus! Nellie what a girl enthusiastic and always smiling as were the bar staff e5c. Food hall staff always greeted you as if it was your first visit again bonus needed. All in all lovely experience. Only one downside the pools were freezing cold and as I am a swimmer found them just too cold, heating would have made this holiday amazing . Local town was a treat easy buses there and back. Yes I would recommend this hotel as you will have a great time, maybe the sea temp would be better in the summer but for what we paid it was great. Almost forget our brilliant barman across from our room 634 from early coffees to evening drinks what a star.
Ramira Beach is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in All the staff from reception to cleaning staff were brilliant and always had time for you and a smile on their face The animation team team were amazing always ready for a laugh After a couple of days all of the bar staff knew which drinks all four of us were drinking and they were all very friendly happy and smiling Food was exceptional with a wide variety to suit any fussy eater and always cooked to perfection Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily they were spotlessly clean bright and plenty of room with nice comfortable beds No a lot to do outside of the hotel but not too far into Kos town 40 min walk or 10 euro taxi ride
