Loved this hotel ticked so many boxes and delivered everything we enjoy. The food was fab, the rooms really big and spotlessly clean but what makes this hotel work are the super friendly staff. Nothing is too much bother and everyone smiles, it's like the Greek version of Disney World. Our chambermaid I think her name was Olivia was a delight. Much quieter than the other hotels Lakitira Resort & Helona Resort which are part of the same group this hotel was perfect for us.The beach is over the road, access via the Lakitira Resort with reserved area and loungers. Towels are supplied at reception. If you only do one thing take the boat trip to Nisyros and visit the volcano. We booked through the hotel a company called Harriets Travel they pick you up and drop you off. Only thing I would mention is that the pool was quite cold. Did not deter me going in but noticed it put some people off. All in all we had a wonderful time thanks for making our holiday special.

This is a lovely hotel, exceptionally clean and the pool and gardens are very well maintained. The staff are excellent. The food is very good and varied. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

The hotel was great and very beautiful! The food was very good especially the breakfast! The staff was very nice and helpful:) The location of the hotel is nice, 5 minutes from kardanema, 10 minutes from the airport and 40 minutes from the city kos (everything in bus) We will definitely come back when traveling to kos!

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Lakitira Suites. First of all i would like to thank all the marvelous staff, they were very helpful, friendly and professional, definately 5*. We stayed half board and were very impressed with the variety and quality of the buffet breakfast and evening meal and also the daytime snacks at the pool bar, again 5*. Unfortunately that is where the 5* quality ends. The name Lakitira suites is rather misleading, our deluxe room wasn't quite a suite, 2 single beds pushed together( not even fixed together) small balcony and a bathroom with a small shower over the bath, with water that was either freezing or red hot. 1 thing we found very strange is that if you are paying 5* prices for your holiday, why are you sharing accommodation with the young staff from the Lakitira resort. There accommodation was literally 50 yards from our rooms in an identical block. We saw and heard them leaving and returning from work everyday. Finally when travelling at this time of year, as we like to as the children are back at school, we were not impressed when we had to tollerate small children crawling and running under our table whilst eating our evening meal. We understand this isnt the hotels fault but it really was an issue. Overall we had a very relaxing holiday, hotel is very clean, beach amazing but sorry not 5*.

We stayed 5 day , perfect room, perfect beach, perfect staff, very good food- a lot of options(we had breakfast +dinner). The dining room not included any drinks, only in the morning you have (free coffee/ tea/juices) The beach is very close to the hotel- 3 minuets walking. You can take a bus from the hotel to Kardamaina - it’s about 10 minuets (small village with shops and restaurants) - one way ticket cost 1.80 euro. The airport very close to the hotel- about 10 minuets driving. Very recommend!!!!

We spent 11 nights at the Lakitira Suites in September and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The hotel is a luxurious oasis of peace and tranquillity, with the cleanest pool i have ever seen, but with the opportunity to 'dip' into the livelier site next door - with all the sporting and leisure facilities you would expect from a Mark Warner hotel. The staff are amazing, special mention to the Captain and his team, although every single member of staff we saw was pleasant and courteous. The suite was lovely, and cleaned to a high standard. The food was delicious, the Chef and his team did a fantastic job. All in all, if you are looking for a relaxing break with delicious food and helpful staff the Lakitira Suites is certainly worth looking at. We will most definitely be going back, and in the last 35 years we have never been so impressed by a hotel that we would return.

We have just returned from a 10-day stay at the Lakitira Suites and enjoyed it so much it has prompted my first review on Trip Advisor. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left the standout was the hotel staff who were simply fantastic and always polite, friendly and willing to spend some time with you chatting or making sure everything was going well. Check In was nice and easy and as we were very late in the evening rolls had been thoughtfully been placed in the fridge within our rooms. Incidentally top-marks also for the fact we had a taxi pickup on our last date at 19:45 and the reception staff kindly made us welcome to enjoy one further dinner before we were picked up so we had eaten before the flight mentioning that it was all included as we had missed the meal on the first night! Lovely attention to detail and it was much appreciated. Food for the half-board was superb. We became so used to the lovely buffet breakfast each day with a huge variety of fruits, cereals, breads, meats, traditional English, juices (freshly squeezed) and much more. One of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced. Dinner was of a similar standard with each night over a 7-day period a theme night with the BBQ night a particular favourite. There was a huge variety of choices and we never wished to miss the evening meal so didn't feel the need to head out to different restaurants across the road in the sister resort nor to the nearby village. The only negatives I can think of concern the occasional guest being allowed to smoke on the terrace (nearly all meals are eaten outside on the terrace). Ashtrays are not provided until asked for but, for me, I feel they should have a smoking ban in the food areas. The other concerns how to pour a beer! At €5 for a large beer you should at least get a beer of full measure - on occasion it looks as if boredom set in when pouring it as you end up with a glass partly filled! Didn't want to mention it as everything else so good but surprised it is not picked up on before the drinks reach guests. We travelled with 2 x grownup daughters and there was plenty to do in the resorts without heading to the village but if you want more night life you need to get the cheap bus in to town. The pool was lovely and there was never a scramble to get sunbeds. The food from the poolside bar was nice too making for lazy poolside days! If you want the beach then it is across the road however the sunbeds all seemed to have gone by about 10am each day. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakitita Suites and would love to visit again someday. Thanks again.

This is the second of the trio of establishments constituting the Lakitira hotel group in southern Kos, the Lakitira Suites is the quiet and perceptibly more up-market option for guests. Consisting of more plushly appointed and larger suites the Lakitira Suites are smaller, quieter and more discreet than the two nearby and administratively connected resorts. Scattered in among a green lawn area and built around one main pool, the complex is anchored by a spacious main building with bar and restaurant that offers intimate balcony dining. It will be appreciated by visitors wanting a quiet, yet distinctly luxurious holiday experience. Four categories of rooms are available – all essentially similar in design and facilities from deluxe doubles to two-bedroom suites. Ours was a mid to upper range family suite and was exceptionally comfortable. There is only one main Ruby restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner and pool bar for snacks and drinks. Minimalism is good sometimes when too many choices can be distracting. You can also take lunch at the nearby Lakitira Resort up-market Helona Resort, both within easy walking distance. One large pool occupies centre space and it is joined to a small children’s pool. Guests are afforded private (swipe card) access to the beach with dedicated Lakitira Suites loungers. The beach area is narrower and but tree shaded and beach bar facilities are provided by the Lakitira Resort 100m further along. All in all, a consciously smaller luxury unit appealing perhaps to an older clientele. It is child-friendly though not child-oriented. The whole complex is noticeable for its quietness. Lakitira Suites is a discreet and discerning option for a specific market clientele.

Our insurance company has moved us to this lovely hotel whilst we wait for my daughter's ear infection to heal. The hotel is lovely. It's calm and quiet, in pretty grounds and with good facilities. Our room is lovely, a good size double bedroom, bathroom, separate wc and a lounge area that converts into two beds (ideal for children). The decor is modern and of a good standard and the cleaning is completed daily to a high standard. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food is good and unlike many buffet offerings never feels too busy. My children one pescatarian and one a picky eater have found something that they like at every meal. The resort is quiet but if you want something livelier you can opt to dine at either the Helona Resort or the Lakitira Village. There is an area of beach with loungers and shades reserved for Suites guests about 3 mins walk from the hotel. The beach is lovely and the sea beautiful to swim in (alas my poorly children haven't been able to). Some guests opt to stay at Suites but do activities at the Mark Warner franchise at the Lakitira Village. Having seen both hotels I can understand why as the Suites looks much nicer. If you want a quiet friendly holiday I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We went with Mark Warner. Cannot fault the set up. Staff amazing. Equipment first class. The hotel staff were really good as well. Very friendly and helpful. The room and the grounds were emaculate. If you want a great night life this is not for you but if you want a holiday with lots of activities on offer this is perfect.
