We went with Mark Warner. Cannot fault the set up. Staff amazing. Equipment first class. The hotel staff were really good as well. Very friendly and helpful. The room and the grounds were emaculate. If you want a great night life this is not for you but if you want a holiday with lots of activities on offer this is perfect.
I stayed here with my sister mid July - weather was beautiful 30oC everyday! First off, all the staff were so friendly, smiley and helpful nothing was too much to ask! We arrived late and had missed dinner service so they kindly put sandwiches in our mini fridge in our room (which had been upgraded) The Suites are so quiet compared to the Resort and Village down the road so if you're looking for peaceful this fits the bill! Beach is only a 3 minute walk out of the suites and you use your keycard to get through a gate to the hotels beach loungers! The room was cleaned every day in the morning as was the pool which were both spacious. We visited kos town (€3.60 30minute bus drive) for the night life and kardameina (€1.80 10minute bus drive) for the tourist offices and shops. We also went to Helona spa just down the road for a treatment which was lovely! Great value for money - I would definitely go back!
The place is very very...very..very quiet. It actually is the accommodation for some groups of teenagers that work in the hotel nearby. To be honest you wouldn't know..they go to work early and come back late..i guess exhausted..no parties or noise Only 10 minutes to the airport..22 Euro. Regular bus to the local village for 1.8 Euro every hour...but always 10-20 minutes late. Beach is 4 minutes walk. But make an effort and go to the beach or the Helona hotel.amazing The negative side is the food...i don't think they make it there..they bring it from another hotel..we actually had to go to other places and pay even though we were on half board..it was unediblle. Enjoy we had to go to o
We spent a week in July 17 at the Lakitira suites. We have stayed a the resort part before and found the Suites more relaxing and quieter. The accommodation, food and facilities were great but the best bit is the staff both in the restaurant and reception who were wonderful.
Young couple aged 22, stayed for a week in early July. Room was spacious and well cleaned with good bathroom facilities. However, no view of the sea. Good quality of food - at dinner there was a variety of meats, fish, vegetarian and traditional Greek food. Our stay was made special by the friendly and personal staff especially Florin and Dimitris. Pool was large and set in pretty gardens of the hotel. Beach was max. 5mins walk with a lovely large sandy beach a further 10mins stroll round the seafront to the sister hotel Helona. Large variety of water sports available. Bus from the hotel to Kos is €3.50 one way and takes just under an hour. The closest town Kardamena is a 40mins walk or the hotel runs hourly buses at €3.60 for a round trip. Taxis are a fixed cost of €10 one way and can be ordered at the front desk. The town is busy in the evenings with many bars/shops/tavernas. Would highly recommend Atheneon bar for high quality affordable cocktails. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very nice services, the local wine are very good and the food delicious. Kos Town very little and nice streets and tavernas. The resort Lakitira is a quite place with nice pool and grass. Its a small island with with many tavernas with sea food.
We spent a week here, with my elder son and his partner, while celebrating our Silver wedding anniversary. The rooms and common areas were clean, light and cool despite temperatures in the 30s. The gardens and pool area were clean and inviting with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas round the pool (towels available from Reception). The facilities and beaches of Lakitira Hotel Resort were only a few minutes walk away (although, except for a few day trips, we felt little need or desire to go beyond the Suites). The food in the restaurant was good and plentiful morning and evening; they should have Greek night every night, the food was fabulous then. The poolside Splash Bar provided very good food and drink at very good value for lunch or snacking. The 'Dine Around' scheme means that you can use many of the restaurants at both Lakitira and Hellona Resorts (we got a 30% discount on food at the Thalassa Restaurant (a la carte) at Hellona as we were half board). Kardamena is a short bus or taxi ride away with plenty of bars and restaurants. We managed to find one with Sky Sports - in the Square - so I didn't miss the Lions mid-week match (even after 25 years my wife still really loves me!). You could walk but it is further than you think, especially when hot! Service at the Suites was excellent at all times and the staff were so friendly; in fact, that was the element that made the holiday for me. A big 'thank you' to you all for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. PS. I've seen someone complain about the planes flying over. Yes, Lakitira Suites is near the flightpath for Kos Airport but it isn't Gatwick: there are not that many planes; they are not that noisy; and we actually enjoyed watching them - briefly - going over. It shouldn't stop anyone from coming here
I feel that this place should be a well kept secret! It's so well run, and everyone is really helpful, kind and lovely. The staff make the place. Because everything is great, it's easy to slip into holiday total relaxation and enjoyment. The Hotel Manager is really lovely and works hard to ensure the highest standard for Guests. The Restaurant Manager, George made our holiday really special. We felt so looked after, he was excellent in every way. The food was just amazing. There was always a great variety of freshly prepared Mediterranean dishes at dinner. The desserts were just beautiful. The lunches at the Splash bar were also very high quality and with great service. Our room was of a very high standard. The fact that the bed was a super king size is an absolute winner. The room maintenance was discreet and high standard. Every guest we spoke to loved this place, many returning. It is truly special. We didn't want to come home! A big big Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to the Manager and to George, Restaurant Manager. Superb!!!
We went with our 13 year old daughter and 18 year old son and we had one of the nicest holidays we have had in years.Everything was excellent fro the facilities to staff and food.We loved Florin for service and Stavros who invited us to his wedding unfortunately we flew home that day and Gabriella make s amazing cocktails at the cafe.
So just returned from a great 10 day holiday at Lakatira Suites. The Staff are amazing so Proffesional and pleasant. Florin is such a hard worker, Maria with her attention to detail (she remembered I needed Soya milk didn't even need to ask) Stavros with his crazy sense of fun, they are all so good and we really looked forward to our restaurant visits. Gabriella in the Splash pool bar such a pleasant, efficient waiter. The pool was wonderful, lots of space and the garden area was well maintained. The hotel complex is on the beach so if you love the sea it's a short walk. The taxi from the Airport was €22 each way and there is a little bus that picks up from the local hotels and takes you into Kardamena €1.80 each way it's quite a distance to walk into the centre when it's hot, so the bus is useful. Let's not forget the reception staff they are so helpful, honestly we felt the staff at this hotel were among the best we have ever come across. The food has been mentioned in other feedback and as it's buffet I think it's difficult to please everyone we found the choice to be very acceptable and breakfast especially was just great. We recommend the burger and the pizza at the splash pool bar very tasty. The wine choice good too many a bit more pricey that I would have liked but that's life. We enjoyed the 3 island cruise booked at reception although the 3rd Island was just a stop off for people to jump into the sea and swim, but worthwhile nevertheless. So it was a lovely relaxing quiet holiday break with good food, good comfy bed and great staff in beautiful surroundings.
