We've stayed in Kos Bay for a week. Pros: - nice rooms with refrigerator, air conditioning (not programmable, set to a fixed option which was too cold sometimes), TV (we didn't use it) - balcony with 2chairs and table - friendly, helpful staff - fast wifi, also in rooms Cons: - rooms weren't cleaned up daily - breakfasts were monotone, with no fresh fruits/vegetables We've had nice time in general. Kos Bay is located not in the very center of the Kos town, it's about 15min by walk. Nearest beach with sunbeds is 10 min by walk, but it's worth to go further to the center, as there are more beaches there (sunbeds belong to bars, where you can stay usually when you order sth). Kos bay is more a small family hotel than a huge holiday resort, there are no pubs/discos around , only in the center. Best to rent a bike as there are lots of bike roads along the beach.

Went to Kos Bay for twelve nights at beginning of sept. It was not a bad place they came and made the beds daily only changed sheets once a week, which is fine so don't know why people complain unless they change there beds nearly every day.the staff was nice not that we had much to do with them. There was no real night life as such but it was ok

Lovely clean rooms excellent service and amazing views, we were looking for some budget accommodation and this has been excellent for the price we paid. Close enough to the centre of Kos town without being on top of it so we were able to avoid the noise and very close to a couple of amazing beaches

I arrived at 6am. The desk clerk asked us to leave the hotel at 7 when breakfast started without giving rooms (they had many!) In the afternoon I got one just behind reception. It was noisy so I asked to change it. The desk clerk played dumb and told me they do not have any rooms in half-empty hotel! Finally they gave me another one. Breakfasts were monotonous and poor. The hotel itself was clean and nite, though.

This is our second visit to the Kos Bay Christina and Alex who work there enough for you .we have already planned another visit for are situated in a great area facing the marina were you can access lots of great family run restaurants please do not be put off from visiting Kos as it is still one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands.

I like this hotel a lot it was very clean and the rooms had very nice view I really enjoy the holidays we stayed for one week and they were very kind all the stuff. The beach is close if you like to go for swimming or just a walk around to the center of kos.

I arrived very late in Kos Bay Hotel in the evening. Even here there is a great service stands out because Kos Bay Hotel is open 24 hours at the front desk. Sophie has welcomed me, she was very friendly, kind and open-hearted. I arrived tired and whacked in my rooms. A single room with Mobilar to my taste. A small private bathroom. All cozy and very clean. I slept very well. :) In the morning I was surprised with a breakfast, which I had not imagined so fine: rolls, toast, cereal, Greek yogurt with honey and peaches, jam, cheese, sausage, eggs, tea, coffee, milk, juice, ... WOW that was great, I sat down on the terrace, enjoying the morning sun and the great breakfast. I learned Cristin, Alex, Sophie during my week know (unfortunately I have forgotten the names of other hard-working helpers). They were friendly at all times to me and open to discussions. I felt very quickly lifted very familiar. This hostel is highly recommended and I'll check in again there themselves next year, I'll probably take even a few friends :) Thanks a million for that great holidays and spending time with me. I love you all! Greez Maria

This was our first visit to the kos bay hotel.Christine is wonderful she welcomes you for breakfast every morning with a smile .Chris and Alex can't do enough for you.view over marina excellent breakfast had a good choice and just a fifteen minute walk to kos town we will certainly use the kos bay again.

We were not disappointed because we had looked at the pictures and read the reviews. The hotel was a good enough base for a lovely week in Kos. It was relaxing, no one bothered you you didn't hear people next door. Beds are a little hard. The staff (family I think) were polite and friendly. The room was OK in size, enough storage, good wardrobe with shelves and drawers our main concern was the towels are not changed all week. We put them out side to dry and freshen. The room is mopped every day and the bathroom, which was basic, is freshened. Breakfast was adequate, cereals, Greek yogurt with honey or tinned fruit in syrup, bread rolls , ham and cheese, cold boiled eggs, toast and butter, jam, marmalade or honey, cake, tea, coffee or chocolate. Surely you can't eat all that every day and be hungry - so devise your own variations !!!!! The roundabout outside is very busy. You can walk to town, get a bus or a taxi is 6 euros. Please visit Coral restaurant - left out of the hotel and just a few minutes walk on the right hand side of Artemesias Street. Alex will make you welcome, have a stuffed tomato as a simple starter and then one of the family dishes, I liked the pork with greens and onions. The refugee situation is not a problem, they don't bother you. Also one of the first bars you reach on the sea front does some cocktails for 4 Euros, Bellinis, Kir Royals were both lovely. We enjoyed the 3 Island trip, Pserramos beach is a delight.

Spent 2 nights here. The first night we were in a room that had no air conditioning. There was an air conditioner and it was on, it just didn't cool the room. That same night, our friends were in another room. They had great air conditioning but no hot water (we had hot water). The second night of our stay we had both hot water and air conditioning, which was nice, but the room's lights were so dim we couldn't read, the tv was at a strange angle from the bed so we could barely watch TV and the bathroom had no window so after a few hours it started to smell like mildew. The staff was very nice but I would not recommend this hotel.
