Poor All Inclusive

Not a great selection of food. Local alcohol included in all inclusive that is only beer wine ouzo and recki all of which was disgusting. Afternoon snacks very poor.

We have stayed at this hotel a few years running now.it is a lovely comfortable hotel. And all the staff are frendly. And we always enjoy returning when we go to kefolos.lovely situation right on the beach.cant wait to return

Best in area.

It's the best hotel in the area from what we could see. The local bars and restaurants are nice and traditional however it's a very quiet end of Kos.

The hotel was very clean, modern and well equipped. Location is great too. I would not recommend the food other than breakfast, but there were plenty of restaurant choices in the area and the breakfast that came with the room was fine.

Mediocre hotel in a fantastic location

We stayed at the Royal Bay for 3 nights to attend a wedding. On the positive side, the hotel is at an unbeatable, beautiful location. However, too many things make us not recommend this hotel for a stay in Kefalos. Upon arrival they didn't have our reservation which we had made with Expedia. If it hadn't been on a busier time of the year we would have been without a room for the night. Not sure if this is the hotel's or expedia's fault, though. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes but was cleaned and spacious. The safe had no batteries, they said they would bring new ones but never did. In three nights we stayed they did not come to clean the room. I asked the first day for the sheets/towels to be replaced they said the cleaning people had left and that they would come and clean the next day. They never did. Breakfast was mediocre. Even though it was included in the price, we actually just went once as it was really quite bad. Cheap bad. At 9am in the first day, some guests had really loud abnoxious music in the pool/breakfast place. No one from the hotel told them to turn it down and it just made breakfast a really terrible experience. Overall the hotel has potential to be great. But it isn't. Service is disappointing and it is unthinkable not to have room maintenance for 3 nights! We cannot reccommend.

Lovely hotel and staff but shoddy breakfast

The hotel is fairly new and the facilities are clean, well organised and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that lets it down is the poor quality food put out for breakfast. Instant coffee, tinned fruit, orange squash, no bacon (1 day only). Items were repeatedly brought out morning after morning having sat on the buffet for hours the previous day. Fresh coffee, fresh fruit and fruit juice and home made breakfast items would be all that it would take to greatly improve the situation.

perfect base to windsurf and relax

this hotel is the best in kefalos bay. its next door to kefalos windsurfing and sailing centre so you can windsurf/ SUP/ sail and walk to your room and leave your gear to dry on your private balcony. the breakfast was very good and the coffee and yoghurt was delish. housekeeping was excellent but i would ask for new room glasses if they look like they werent washed for a while. Fridge in room was so handy for extra water/ drinks. lovely walks take you to nice restaurants and the pool side bar was reasonably priced. This is the best side of the island - kefalos bay can be fantastic for windsurfing but also swimming is nice if no wind. the atmosphere is far better than Kos. get a car and check out the coastal tavernas - all the fish is so good.

Absoluter Glücksgriff

Das Hotel ist einfach nur toll. Sehr große Zimmer. Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer beim Frühstück. Da fängt der Tag schon gut an. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Der Service im Hotel war erstklassig. Wir wurden immer mit einem Lächeln empfangen und all unsere Fragen wurden sofort geklärt. Die Lage ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um viele schöne Orte zu besuchen. Abends war es sehr ruhig, sodass man wunderbar schlafen konnte. Die Anlage ist sehr gut in Schuss und gepflegt. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!

Hotel mit Pool direkt am Strand

Die schönsten Strände von Kefalos direkt um die Ecke (z.B. Paradise Beach, Agios Stefanos). Vor der Tür kann man billig und unkompliziert ein Auto mieten, mit dem man die Insel in 2-3 Tagen erkunden kann. Viele Zimmer haben einen direkten Blick auf den Strand. Das Essen im Hotel und in der Umgebung ist in Ordnung - vielseitiges Angebot vorhanden. Der Urlaub war Ende Mai bzw. Anfang Juni. Das Wasser war sehr erfrischend und hatte eine gute Temperatur. Die Insel ist überschaubar und sehr schön.

Herziges kleines Hotel am Strand

Das Hotel ist klein aber sehr schön gelegen. Nah an einem kleinen Dorf mit vielen Restaurants und direkt am Meer. Es ist ruhig, somit kann man gut entspannen und die Ferien geniessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und konnte teilweise Deutsch, immer hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit war in allem gut, teilweise sind Fugen in der Badwanne etwas schwarz. Doch sonst ist alles schln eingerichtet und comfortabel, somit kann man über das hinwegsehen.

Hotel für Strand-/ Poolurlaub

Mehr Schein als Sein. Das Hotel Royal Bay ist modern gebaut und die Zimmer sind großzügig. Auch hier sind die Handtuchmarkierer unterwegs, die morgens ihre Liegen markieren. Strandliegen und Schirme sind nicht inklusive. Die Sauberkeit ist oberflächig. Kaffeeflecken auf dem Nachttisch vom Vormieters, sowie ein unsauberes Waschbecken mussten wir bei Einzug vorfinden. Das Frühstück ist sehr dürftig, der Kaffee nicht zu empfehlen. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist nicht besonders gut und war in unserem Urlaub mit Abstand das Schlechteste. Dosentomaten aus dem Dakos- Salat!! In den Grünbeeten fühlt sich das Unkraut wohler als die scheinbar ursprünglich gepflanzten Büsche.

Vi var på Kos for å bade, sole oss og slappe av. Nydelig bassengområde rett ved stranda.Dette var et perfekt hotell for oss. Hyggelig betjening. God frokost.
