The kosta palace hotel is an ideal base and enjoyable kos holiday . we have used this hotel a number of years we enjoy coming back each year and look forward to many more happy holidays here. the hotel is in a perfect position wright by the harbour with easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants, local taverns and bars and public transports. The hotel has a roof top area with two pools one for children a spa snack bar and large relaxation area.
Great location. Beautiful view.right in the center of everything.close to the beach. Near resturants.on the marina. Nice pool. Very nice and helping staff. Good breakfast. Big rooms nice and cozy. Not very good for handicaps-alot of stairs!!!
We stayed here 31st may to 6th June. Really don't have a bad word to say about this hotel. We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive and if we did have an issue it was dealt with instantly. It's worth paying the little extra for a harbour view room. I had read a couple of reviews saying that the rooms were a bit dated but we certainly didn't find this to be the case. The room was cleaned every day end the breakfast selection was more than ample with a wide range of choice. Location couldn't be better. Would definitely recommend.
Well, I am only three days into my annual week’s visit to Kos but I feel I can post this review now. I have never stayed at this particular hotel and I am not disappointed. Firstly, a great location , enhanced by the superb views from the rooftop bar and pool area. The room I gave is spotlessly clean. There was a minor glitch with a bad drain smell in the bathroom but it was fixed expediently by the helpful reception and maintenance staff. My room is large, having three beds. The bathroom has a shower over bath. There is a fridge and a safe in the room and a tv if you so desire. I look to the courtyard from my balcony which gets the sun all afternoon. I got a voucher on arrival for a free 15 minute massage of choice by Katerina on the rooftop spa area. I upgraded to a 45 minute back, neck and scalp massage for 30 euros which included the free 15 mins. It was soooo worth it. She was excellent, taking into consideration my request of deep massage. The cocktails are also very good and at 5 euros- a snip!! Staff have all been so lovely. I most certainly will return here and recommend to anyone coming to Kos.
Big appartement, simple but big and no extra costs for airconditioning! Nice shower. Beds are big, hard matras, but for us it was perfect for a good sleep ;). Nice staff especially our waiter at night, the security guys at night and the girl from the bar at the roof terrace!! Many thanks for a nice stay at kos!
Spotless clean throughout, extremely friendly staff & a great location. My room 216 was basic (twin beds, mini fridge, kettle, large TV, shower room & balcony) but an ideal location, with a great view of the harbour. A well stocked bar & very nice terrace to enjoy drinks, then on the roof there is the pool & snack bar, with panoramic view of the harbour. Breakfast is self service, which can be eaten inside or on the terrace, with far too much to choose from. The highlite of the hotel is the staff. Every single person who I met was absolutely wonderful, from the greeting on my arrival at reception, bar, breakfast room, chef & housekeeping. As an example, there were 25mph winds one day & a lady had not packed a coat. Most people would have given her directions to the shops, but here, a receptionist loaned her one. That to me is going above & beyond.
We booked this hotel due to its convenient location close to the ferry and the harbour. It was good, with great views, comfortable public areas, lovely terraces for breakfast and a late evening drink overlooking the harbour, nice pool and terrace area on the roof , again with super views. The bedrooms were standard fare but the bathrooms need some updating, especially the showers which were antiquated. Then there is the ornamental kettle and tea tray, which would have been most welcome had there been and tea or coffee to actually put in the cups ! We did ask at reception but nothing doing so really it’s entirely pointless. We have used hotels worldwide, done bigger some smaller but have never come across a redundant tea tray and kettle . Shame really.
Great friendly hotel. I booked a room for our 46th anniversary and asked if I could get flowers and wine put in our room for when we arrived. They were really helpful and even upgraded our room to a harbour view. Breakfast is great with lots of choice. All of us staff were really friendly and helpful. I would have no Hesitation recommending this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
The hotel is really dated but it is a cheap stay so I didn’t mind too much. The location is a great place with a great view by the harbour. The main reason for the 2 star review is how rude the day manager is. It went from quietly sitting there having a coffee enjoying the incredible view of the harbour to being shouted at by an angry short person for being at the ‘wrong seat’ if we visit kos again we 100% won’t stay here.
Amazing staff, very helpful, right in front of the harbor, clean, really nice breakfast. the only downer is the thin wAmazing staff, very helpful, right infront of the harbor, clean, relly nice breakfest. the only downer is the thick walls
