Kos Hotel Junior Suites

Friendly reception, Large spacious suite, but old and quite run down. The bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation and the beds (though clean and well aired) were hard and rough. The towels did not smell fresh either. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Although this place is pretty amazing and I would stay here again, be warned - it is not a 4 star hotel at all. My husband and I are currently here for 9 nights. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. I didn't do my research properly and just expected the gym and sauna/steam room facilities to be free for hotel users as with other 3 and 4 star hotels that I have stayed in before. We did only pay a small fee to use the gym (which has everything that you need - free weights, dumbells, carido machines etc) but I was not expecting this. I like to know all my costs upfront. You also have to pay to use the sauna/steam but the advantage is that it is a private session which is nice if you just want to chill with your friends/partner. Breakfast is nice - there is something for everyone. The kitchenette and living room area in the suites are great. We didn't plan to cook so I can't comment on that side of things. The balcony is huge - such a nice place to chill and relax. 100% agree that the place needs to be updated. For example, the bath needs another coat of enamel and the shower needs some Cillit Bang - but still works well, is hot and had good pressure. It's like stepping back in time to 1980's! Having said that, the place is clean. I thought the beds were comfy too - if you like a firm mattress you won't mind this place. For what we paid for 9 nights - it was well worth the money. Also, the bus stop is right outside. I would rate this as a 3 star hotel.

We stayed at Kos junior Suites for 20 nights in March 2019, If you are thinking of cooking be warned there is no oven just two stove rings and microwave, there are no double beds just two hard and uncomfortable single beds. The breakfast organised by an obsequious waitress and a surly cook was basic but edible.I paid just 20 euros to use the gym, would have preferred to have paid more for use of decent equipent, terribly old and dated. The reception was very obliging and helped us switch rooms to the back of the hotel in order to get sun on the balcony (really lovely big balcony like an extra room). Location by the Marina not ideal for harbour and shops.I would not stay there again.

Yes the rooms need updating, the fridge was marked and you couldn't cook anything on the hob if you choose to do so as it was tiny but.... rooms were spotless, good size, good soundproofing and fantastic marina view Room 217. Staff were the friendliest ever, pool was clean and unlike many Greek breakfasts a superb range of food. Brilliant location too! The positives are all 4 star with the decor being 3 star. Would teturn

We stayed at Kos Hotel and Junior Suites for the last week in September. The hotel is in a great position - if you go out to the main road and turn left and walk for ten minutes you will arrive in Kos Town centre with all its bars, tavernas and historical sites. If you turn right and walk for ten minutes you will arrive at a series of beach bars which have a beach area at the back. Our rooms were spacious and cleaned to a high standard. We had a small kitchen area with two rings, kettle, coffee maker and microwave plus basic kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery and a table with four seats. The lounge area had two sofa beds and a tv which picked up a few English channels. Our bedroom had a large wardrobe with around 15 hangers plus drawer space, two bedside tables, full length mirror and a dressing table. The balcony ran the length of the bedroom and living room and had table, chairs and a clothes drying rack. We had a lovely view of the marina. Our bathroom had a full bath with shower overhead. I think anywhere else in Europe this might be a three star establishment but having stayed in many Greek hotels and apartments, I would say it was four stars for Greece. My only complaint is that the mattress was like a sheet of concrete! There is a well stocked gift shop/supermarket underneath the hotel which was really handy. On arrival we were given an internet access code to use with up to three devices and we found the internet to be pretty good. The breakfast was plentiful and varied with hot and cold breakfast choices and the staff were just so friendly, helpful and always smiling - a real joy. The pool area was clean and there seemed to be plenty of sunbeds although we did not spend much time there, favouring the beach behind the Four Roses just down the road. Kos Town is just fabulous - there are numerous tavernas and bars and the archaeology is amazing. Would highly recommend both Kos Town and the Kos Hotel and Junior Suites.

As I have my own place on kos I didn't stay at the hotel however I was a regular guest at the spa. A big thank you to Dimitra and Georgia for their wonderful treatments as well as their friendship and kindness. The relaxing massage and facials were amazing as well as the pedicures and manicures that made me feel like a princess 👸. I'd also like to mention, Lucy and Martha. Always smiling ☺ these ladies were a joy to see! 😍 Yamas!

The staff here were second to none. They were all so friendly, vibrant and welcoming and never failed to make you smile. The pool was lovely and never crowded, which may have been due to the time we visited but it made all the difference. Food menues at the pool area were good, drink prices fair and rooms kept clean and if a good standard. The view onto the waterfront was sensational and was a great way to wake up every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

we stayed in Room 214 on the second floor with a side view to the marina which was good but the furniture was dated and marked and the sink tap had copper and a build up of what i presume was limescale around it the bath in the bathroom was a small sitting down one with a shower which as we were both in our late 60s was hard to get in and out of in fact i slipped in the bath and crashed out onto the floor resulting in bruising i did mention this to the staff also the bath was stained. i would suggest a walk in shower would be better i know all these things cost money but as a four star hotel i didnt expect 1960s decor and we were disappointed. we would stay there again but not in that room but one with a walk in shower

We’ve just come back from a weeks stay and had a fantastic holiday. The staff where very friendly & helpful! The pool area was kept clean with ample sunbeds (although we did go out of season so can’t comment on busy season) We got a spot everyday with ease. We sampled plenty of cocktails and snacks from the pool bar which was always great, the staff where great & very friendly. Our room was clean & very spacious, balcony was huge! The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. It was only a short walk to a huge selection of bars/restaurants so very handy. The only thing I would say is when we booked the holiday it stated 10M from beach, the beach which is 10M away was not a beach, it was so small and not nice. If you’re looking for a beach holiday I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. A lot of the front is harbour so you can’t swim in the sea and there was no sand but we where happy to chill by the pool and all in all had a great holiday!

Me, my girlfriend and our friends stayed here for 10 nights and couldn't of asked for anything more. This hotel was absolutely perfect. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, hotel was very clean, room was spacious and clean, air conditioning was good, pool area was nice and relaxing, hotel food was nice and also the location of this hotel was superb. There are a large number of bars and restaurants a short walk away from the hotel. Kostas, the guy who works behind the bar on an evening is such a nice person and so welcoming. We stayed at the hotel for a little while to have a couple of drinks before going out because it Kostas. He kept all guests entertained and encouraged all guests at the bar to have conversation with each other. I would be extremely grateful if you could pass this message onto Kostas and tell him it is from his "children from England". I would recommend this hotel to anybody. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
