The staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed from the minute we arrived. Close enough to the city centre yet far enough out to be away from the crowds. Lovely pool. Couldn’t give ‘excellent’ overall as quite basic. True to a 3 star in Greece though.

The hotel is situated within walking distance to the city center but also in a quiet area where you can relax by the pool or your balcony. The staff has been more than accommodating on our every request and always been attentive. We didn't try the pool as we were going out everyday to a different beach or cruises to the nearby islands. The BBQ night is very popular with a good vibe.

If I had reviewed ampravis after one night it probably would have been a 2 The accommodation is basic and old fashioned very little equipment eg no washing up liquid or scourers and showers temperatures was very temperamental I despite taking precautions got bitten badly by insects whilst sleeping on our first night It is Also a good 20 mins walk to the old town or sea front of kos town partly along a narrow road with moderate traffic However things got better the staff are amazing and make you feel as if you are part of the family we seemed to be only couple who were not returning time after time The gardens and pool were kept very clean and has an elevated position overlooking the sea in the distance and the Turkish coastline The hired car We had from day two meant we could get to the free car parks on edge of kos town in 3 mins and the purchase of a 5 Euro electric plug and pad stopped them biting at night I would recommend you buy one before arriving It is also very quiet the two activities nights per week finish early and noise levels were low Air conditioning is extra 5 euros per night and is only in the bedroom but was effective

Struttura accettabile, quantomeno se vista dall'esterno. Infatti nella stanza che mi è stata data, cioè la numero 30, ci sono svariati difetti: prima cosa, non c'era uno scolapasta, che mi sembra basilare come utensile; il WiFi non funzionava, ho parlato col ragazzo del bar che ha riavviato la rete piu volte ma il problema non è mai stato risolto; nella doccia l'acqua non andava via completamente tanto da riempirsi un po' e creare un laghetto; difetto non da poco, ma forse ci sta come politica, l'aria condizionata, e così tutta la rete elettrica della stanza, funzionava solo con la chiave inserita in una fessura a muro; ciò significava tornare dal mare con la stanza bollente e dover aspettare almeno 2 ore per rinfrescare la zona. Non sono per niente soddisfatto di questa struttura, anche perché la disponibilità e la voglia di risolvere le problematiche da parte dello staff non sembrava così elevata.

Slitte rom men ok omgivelser på område.

Noe slitt og enkle senger og rom. Fryser burde defryses, varme fra kjøleskap i kjøkken bidro til at kjøkkenet var varmt. Aircon fra soverom rekker ikke fram til kjøkken. Vi hadde en seng på kjøkken som vi flyttet inn i trangt soverom. Vi hadde da tre senger på rekke med god aircon på soverom. Sengene er noe harde med tynne madrasser. Hyggelig og god service fra ansatte. 20 min å gå til sentrum er noe langt i varme. Det er vanskelig å få taxi, da byen var overfylt av turister i høysesong. Taxi må evnt. bookes på forhånd, det koster ekstra. Alternativt ring å vent på taxi med ventetid på ca 20 minutter.

Einfache Unterkunft in guter Lage

Unser Appartment entsprach wegen der Einfachheit und der renovierungsbedürftigen Möblierung nicht unseren Ansprüchen. Die Sauberkeit ist verbesserungswürdig. Bettbezugs- und Handtuchwechsel waren akzeptabel. Das Personal war sehr nett und höflich. Frühstück und Speisen waren englisch ausgerichtet. Die allgemeine Terrasse liegt Dank eines riesigen Fikusbaums immer im angenehmen Schatten mit Ausblick über Felder, das Meer bis zur türkischen Küste.

Άνετο, καθαρό, εξυπηρετικό, φιλικό

Ένα ήσυχο και πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο 34 διάσπαρτων μέσα στο πράσινο άνετων δίχωρων διαμερισμάτων με πισίνα και απέραντη θέα σ όλη την πόλη της Κω, τη γύρω της περιοχή, τη θάλασσα και την Αλικαρνασσό της Μικράς Ασίας. Φιλικότατοι και εξυπηρετικότατοι ιδιοκτήτες. Μείναμε οικογενειακώς ευχαριστημένοι γιατί είμασταν ταυτόχρονα μέσα στην φύση και μόλις λίγα λεπτά απ το κέντρο της πόλης και απ το διπλανο χωριο Πλατάνι στο οποίο βρίσκει κανείς το πιο νόστιμο φαγητό και για χορτοφάγους. Όταν ξαναπάμε στην Κω στο Ampavris Hotel θα ξαναμείνουμε.
