This place is fantastic! Staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful, rooms are beautiful and very convenient (e.g. full kitchen, washer and dryer), location is convenient to everything on the south shore. Highly recommended.

Pool staff were very sassy towards us and didn’t know how to communicate.

Excellent Resort for families. Great service. Convenient. Definitely good value. Water features best on island. Had a family emergency which they assisted us with. Provided a late check out to accommodate our family emergency. NOTE: Need newer wheelchairs.

Enjoyed staying at this resort. Will recommend to a friend and family

Location, location, location. Easy to get to anything and everything on the island. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Great pool and a great view from out room.

Loved every single minute of our stay at this hotel, just wish the restaurant had a little more variety in food options

We had a one bedroom that was nice as it had everything we needed, plus extra space. The pool was the highlight as there's not much else to do in Poipu other than walk on the beach or stay at the pool. What we found as a general theme on Kauai is that most everything is expensive. The hotel restaurant was decent as it's basically a poolside restaurant and bar that serves lunch while at the pool or dinner. You can get room service too, but the selections are not extensive and it is still a bit pricy. But otherwise, my son liked this hotel the best because of the space inside the room and the pool. In fact, he liked it better than the St. Regis in Princeville up north that's a 5 star accommodation. But overall as a family, we enjoyed our time at this resort as it's not over done and the service was great.

This is the best resort I have ever stayed at, period. Huge park like pools, ocean view from the grounds, a few minutes walk to Poipu Beach. Building 11 was practically new (in use since May according to staff) and closest to beach. we got upgraded to a one bedroom villa with tasteful deco and abundant convinience. Soaking tub and second vanity in a separate room. 32 dollar per day resort fee was fair since all activities were included. Morning workout, lei making, hula dance lesson and evening S’more were all well led by very professional staff. Juan the trainer really made me work hard in a 45 minute intensive session:-). We had a unforgettable time here. Thank you Koloa Lansing!

We booked sight unseen but went with the star rating. It was a nice hotel and the kids didn't want to leave the pool area. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would stay there again.

Just returned from our Kauai babymoon. The Koloa Landing was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy time together. The pool and grounds are beautiful. We were in building 8 which was close to the main pool and easy 2 minute walk to sit and watch the sunset on the rock wall nearby. My husband did get locked in the bathroom at one point, hotel staff was quick to respond and gives us a good story to laugh at. The staff was also very informative with up-to-the-minute text message alerts for things like pool closure for private events, or s’more cancellation due to weather. We stayed in a studio room and loved the lanai doors opening extra wide, access to our own washer/dryer with laundry detergent provided, and a mini-kitchenette. We were welcomed with fresh leis, a box of chocolate and a large bottle of water. Thanks Koloa Landing Resort, we’ll be back.

Always comfortable and memorable at Koloa Landing!! The new pool is awesome...so happy to see the full Resort built out. Great location and extremely comfy rooms.

Really enjoyed our stay. The pool and grounds were excellent. The little extras, like a lei greeting and water and chocolates in the room were a very nice added touch. Room was beautiful, very nicely done. Really enjoyed our stay here. The only improvement, albeit a small one, we could recommend would be to make one of the pools adults only. The resort does not have direct access to a beach, but that was a minor issue as we enjoyed the pools and the grounds so much.

The beach in front is rocky and not for swimming but the pools are very nice. We had a two bedroom suite and it was wonderful. Unfortunately our view of the ocean was looking over a construction site and a rooftop of solar panels, but the room itself and patio was great.

Pool and facilities were wonderful. The location is prime for walking to local shops. Airport shuttle not available and the welcome/greeting was average at best for Kauai. Desires upon arrival left you feel like you were missing something.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Koloa Landing. Our studio condo unit was spotless, and overlooked one of the three pools. We were just across the road from the beach and within walking distance to several restaurants and coffee spots. There are gas barbecues available as well as outdoor eating areas. I will definitely stay there again!

Did a lot of hiking and snorkeling very fun. went to the local farmers market and enjoyed meeting the people and purchasing the locally grown fruit...

Lots of loud construction, faced a parking lot being worked on and was told it would be a resort view. Too many tourists

My family stayed at Koloa Landing for two nights and the experience was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of Oahu. It was the first time we've stayed at the resort, and I don't know if it was the time of year, but it was not crowded at all and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The only minor issues I had (not enough to cause me not to recommend the hotel) was that some of the pots were rusty, the bathtub stopper did not work, one of the bathroom sinks was very slow to drain, and the screen door fell off the track when we slid it open. Normally, this wouldn't even be worth mentioning except that we were in one of the newly completed buildings that was supposedly brand new. In fairness, there was a card in the room asking for feedback on the condition of the room, which I plan to submit. Overall, we had a great time at the kiddie pools and around the resort. Fair warning though, the Tranquility pool doesn't seem to be heated and the water was frigid at 1:00p.m. Can't wait to return to this place. Hopefully the next one will be perfect.

Stayed 6 nights. Exceedingly well-appointed room. Full-size washer and dryer; microwave, refrigerator. Kitchen well-appointed. Staff uniformly helpful and friendly. Grounds beautiful. Breakfast ($13) mediocre.
