It's one of those you get what you pay for kinda places except if you're paying full price it would be over priced. Went to check in and there was drama where they couldn't find the guy ahead of us reservation. They finally found it but the guy had been told $50/night and now he's told $85. Manager told him he was welcome to argue with the owner in the morning. It's been a long time where I've stayed in a hotel that didn't have an apparent computer system. Reservations had to be hand searched on a printout? Check in was abnormal. I booked online and room was $65/night. I'd go with this is more of a $40-50/night room. Parking lot is ruff. Stepped out of the car and into one of many ruts. Probably ok to use shower. Definatly would not use tub. Can't tell if the caulk is mildewy or dirty. Someone has kicked holes into bathroom door. Room next to us had a door handle that falls off if you shut the bathroom door all the way. Sink is clean, beds seem clean. Beds are......firm..... Didn't try tv. Does have microwave and fridge. I've stayed in worse. I've stayed in much much better. Would I stay here again? Not at full price. If you just need a place to crash for the night it'll do, but book online and get all the discounts you can.
After seeing several accidents we decided to get a room to be on safe side. My comforter had what looked to be a mouse hole larger than 2 quarters put side by side, the heat was not on when we came in which is ok because it was spur of moment decision, our bathroom door had a punch mark, the carpet was ripped everywhere and my microwave was no where to be found. We never tried tv. But despite it all it was clean. We did not find any bugs as others have stated. We stayed in upper room with 3 beds which was nice, rarely do u find 3 beds in a room. Oh yeah forgot to mention the dresser holding the mystery door closed.
Don’t let the distressed parking lot the hotel shares with a restaurant fool you. If you are in the Peru area and want an affordable place to stay at a convenient location you need look no further than the Knights Inn. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet, and comfortable our room was. The owners and staff clearly care about the hotel. Indeed, in our room the furniture and appliances appeared to have been recently upgraded. If you are cost conscious, or just don’t care about the amenities upscale hotels offer, this Knights Inn is a good choice for good night’s sleep.
Hoped to make a quick stay after ND football game... despite the good reviews from some recently we were disappointed. The receptionist was very nice. Unfortunately the rooms we tried had the "smoked in" smell despite being no-smoking rooms. She tried to issue credit, but will have to follow up in a couple of days to verify it went through.
Clean rooms clean property and great price I was there for a week and the owner was very friendly and helpful in every way I would have no problem staying here again. The Circus restaurant in front of the property had great food to I ate there several times.
Room is clean, and reasonable to stay! There is a place to eat right next door which has good food, reasonably priced as well. I stay here whenever in the area on business, also get points for my travel.
This is an old motel, but everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was there for a machine knitting conference, and most of the ladies stayed at another motel and snickered a bit at where I was staying. However, the joke is on them! Don't be reluctant to stay here. It serves the purpose perfectly well.
The room was clean. It smelled fresh. The shower was hot which is a plus. The bed was quite comfy. The TV picture and sound was exceptionally well for tube type. I would most definitely recommend it for the average person who doesn't need a strong wifi signal.
There is not alot of selection if you want to stay right in Peru as I needed to. The hotel across the way looked alot better but was also double the price. This place was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a quiet place. Beware of potholes in parking lot if you are coming in at night. Great little restaurant (Circus City Grill) is right there in the parking lot.
Was not sure we would like it, but it turned out to be fine. Stayed 4 nites and it was quite comfortable. Refrigerator and Micro were great, beds ok and we found it nice and clean. It is very near to where our daughter lives so it worked out very well for us. Would definitely consider staying there again
