We stayed here for 12 nights and had a fantastic time. We had a pool access room which we loved. Our friends had a bungalow which were also lovely. The staff we lovely and helpful. Its is about a 20 min walk into the main chaweng area but plenty of taxis to take you there. I would definitely recommend this resort 😀
We stayed at highest floor in main building with sea view. First we were offered pool room, but we asked for one with more privacy. This was solved in second. Room was comfortable, with enough space and very clean. Same as on pictures of managament. Breakfast was good and varied, with convenient cooking station in restaurant area. Friendly staff, specialy cleaning ladies. They changed bed lines and tovels every day. Nice neighborhood, quiet location, few meters from Chaweng noi beach, wich was best on Koh Samui for us.
We stayed in 3 rooms for six days. Staff are very polite friendly and eager to assist. We took one room on the pool which was fantastic. It wasn't clear on the site that there are two separate parts to the hotel. One has bungalows on the beach and the second where we stayed is a building around a pool but a minute away from the beach front . Very comfortable. Convenient. 20 minute walk to Chaweng center.
I was there in July 2017. Firrst night i had a pool room in main building, not so nice coz very loud, some crazy guests. Then 6 day in beach bungalow, this was excellent, nice sea view, 10 meters to pool, 30 meters to beach. Beach is quiet there, 2 beaches accesible, chaweng beach and chaweng noi beach. Beachbed at both beaches. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was big and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. 20 min walking distance to Chaweng center.
We spent two weeks here, people are nice and we have a bungalow. Pleasant surroundings, clean. Air conditioning everything. The problem with the bungalow is that the door handle but can be rotated and unfortunately there were many people around us who just slammed the door and did not turn the door handle, so the morning rest is difficult ... I miss the respect of other people, If someone wants to relax... its not possible because they hit the door. The bathroom is equipped with shower and tub. There is a private pool with a small bar where pleasant music and you can drink also. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel is not the best ... Breakfast is ok, but other meals are not that delicious, I do not recommend eating here during the day.
The place is very nice and it has a good position, staff was very nice and kindly, room clean and quaint. My low mark is for breakfast, it was awful... if you got up after 9.00 there was the risk to not find nothing to eat... staff don t put new food when it finishes. So it is for me is unintelligible, a good structure that lost marks for that. Or sometimes there were not napkins, or 4 spoons vs 10 customers that wanted to eat some yogurt.
We stayed at the hotel about a block from the ocean, though there are closer villas and bungalows connected to this hotel. First of all, the front desk could not have been more helpful, and made last minute arrangements to accommodate us in fine style. Many thanks to Mr. Golf Sridafong for his help! We were assigned to a very classy room with balcony facing the pool and ocean. The included breakfast is served at a restaurant across the street, and in addition to the usual cuisine, they have cooks on hand to make you a fresh omelette. For the price, the value here is incredible. Highly recommended! Also, this hotel is a block away from Phensiri, quite possibly the best restaurant we found in Thailand.
We have just arrived back from an 11 night stay at Bhundhari, and loved it! Rooms were nice, very clean, and were cleaned/tidied everyday. The staff were very welcoming, arranged pick up from the airport and a boat tour for a really good price, and couldn't do enough to help us. There are two pools, one is a beach view of the end of Chaweng Beach, and the other is below the apartments. Both were nice. The main Chaweng 'strip' can be reached in about a 15 min walk, but there are taxi ranks outside the hotel too. The only negative we had at this hotel was we ordered room service one time (pizza) and the dough and toppings were almost raw! But that didn't take away from the rest of the experience, which was great.
My partner and I recently stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights. Firstly, it is not a resort. When we arrived we were shocked to find that it was not a beach front property and looked more like a rundown block of flats. It is located close to a beach, but this is not one of the main beaches. It is far away from anything worth seeing/ visiting in Koh Samui. We loved the Isaland. We needed to take taxis anywhere we wanted to go. It has a terrible location and there are even signs up close to the Hotel that this is an area where there is a lot of pick pockets and even muggings. The main areas of Chaweng beach are by no means within walking distance. The hotel has a tiny pool, that was green for the duration of our stay. There is also a huge problem with privacy as you can see in to the other rooms, and we needed to keep the curtains drawn at all times. The Hotel looks rundown and everything is dated. The staff kept on trying to sell us tours or organize taxis, at inflated prices. Walking through reception, we felt harassed. This is the first time I have given a Hotel such a low score, but the Hotel was not at all what was advertised on booking sites. This was also the most expensive Hotel we stayed in during our visit to Thailand, and while the other Hotels were lovely, this Hotel was terrible and extremely over priced for what it offers.
Nice hotel in the more sedate part of town, the staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful. Our room was cleaned to an excellent standard every day we required it. The pool was lovely and clean and the beach a couple of minutes walk. Transport to the centre of town is easy but also can be walked in about 15 minutes. The breakfast was good. No complaints from us Bhundhari, thank you very much.
