We had a family bungalow which we shared with our two teenage daughters. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pool is a good size. There is a good choice of cafés and restaurants nearby. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away through a beautiful temple. It's a very quiet place to stay and not somewhere to go for a party atmosphere.

Great peaceful place to stay

Great place to stay and very affordable. Staff were very friendly and the place had everything you needed, great swimming pool and restaurant just outside which the food was "Aroy Mak Mak" night market and 7 -11 in walking distance. Wifi was great also. I would highly recommend this place and i will be coming back.

Nice, Simple Lodging in Quiet Area

The food was amazing and very affordable! We loved playing in the pool all day and eating in the peaceful surrounds (hammocks with fans above them!) The place is simple - it's not luxury acommodation and it's not beachfront. But it was peaceful and comfortable and we were happy. The area is very quiet. Short walk to a quiet beach; only a couple restaraunt choices

Nice place

Had a great stay at Harry's, room was clean and comfortable and love the location in OK Village, it's only a ten minute walk to the beach, and enough local shops if you need to stock up on anything. Only down side was that the bathroom shower was blocked so the bathroom flooded every time I took a shower, this was delt with as soon as reported, but the problem returned the next day and as I was leaving the day after I did not report it a second time. That said I will be back on Samui in August and will stay at Harry's again.

January 2017 Holiday in Samui Buri Beach Mae Nam

Harry`s Bungalows & Restaurant is located in Beautiful Gardens. loads of large butterflies & birds flying round!. Large clean 2 bedrooms in detached bungalow. medium size pool. Pool very clean and cleaned several times each day. Pleasant Restaurant and Bar. Menu reasonable but could include addition choices for breakfast and dinner. Excellent latte at breakfast! About 8 minute pleasant walk on road to beach past several restaurants. Also past an excellent coffee shop with the best breakfasts and coffee in Thailand! I will be returning to Harry`s later in 2017.

Charming and good value

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in a family bungalow. A good value option just behind the larger beachfront resorts with nice grounds and pool area. Very close to beach and several restaurant options nearby. It is somewhat dated but still well kept and maintains some charm. Bungalow was nice, clean, and large enough for a family of four. Extra large refrigerator was a helpful touch. Sitting area out front could use a hammock. Very close to Mae Nam pier for very convenient transport to or from Koh PhaNgan. They offer free pick up from this pier, a convenient touch. The pier is only a 5 minute walk away.

Stayed one night as close to ferry to Ko Tao, good sized and equipped room. No issues whatsoever and breakfast was decent. Also recommend the German/Thai restaurant down the road right out of Harry's

The bungalows themselves are ok but location not

Advertised as close to a beautiful quiet Maenam beach and that's the reason we went. It isn't! The '5 min walk to beach' is much further and when you get to the beach it is nearly all 'owned' by resorts for guests only. You have to walk quite away to find an area of beach that isn't privately owned and when you get there it's a few broken shacks with two plastic chairs, surrounded by litter and barbed wire. We left our 3 night stay after 1 night and headed back to better beaches and just accepted a loss of money. The bungalows themselves are fine. Just very secluded

Very good value and easy-going.

Harry's is a peaceful and relaxing oasis from the hustle and bustle. Staff are very natural, unobtrusive but there if you need them, and accommodating. The pool and its setting are wonderful. It's not four-star but you don't expect that for the price. It is great value. Tea and coffee making facilities would be a bonus, but we think Harry's is pretty much perfect. We've stayed before and will again.

Nice place to stay if you're on a budget. Rooms were clean and comfortable, facilities a bit dated. The aircon worked well in our room so that was good. A bit small for a family of 4, only one bathroom but we managed. The retaurant was very nice, but in the area are dozens of small restaurants all very good and affordable. Nice beach close by. Staff very polite and helpful.

Value for money

Great service from staff. Very quiet at this time of year(June). The only thing that seemed affected by this was that the pool area seemed neglected. This didn't bother us as the beach is too nice to waste time by a pool. Beach only short walk away. Places to eat nearby as well as places to organise onward journeys though Harry's can sort lots for you too. Harry's Restaurant has some of the best food we've eaten in Thailand. Room is basic but spacious and what you should expect for the price paid.

Lovely quiet stay only short stroll from the beach

We really enjoyed Harry's its a lovely little resort and very idyllic at an affordable price. The location in the back streets was perfect as it was so quiet but yet only a short stroll to the beach, other restaurants, shops etc. We had the two bed bungalow and it was nice and spacious and having a fridge was great. The pool is large and sparkling and we spent quite a bit of time around it as opposed to the beach as it was windy and the sea wasn't inviting. The staff were friendly and WIFI was excellent.

Ruhige Anlage. Heruntergekommen, keine Instandhaltung in den letzten Jahren! Allgemein gibt es kein Konzept für die Müllprobleme. Strand teilweise zugemüllt. Auch wenn Sauberkeits-Bemühungen da sind, es scheitert an der Entsorgung. Der Wind und die Strömung bringen alles wieder zurück!!!

Petit coin de paradis. Petite structure, une quinzaine de bungalow, entourés d'une végétation luxuriante, chacun possédant une petite terrasse avec salon de jardin avec une intimité totale. L'ensemble du personnel est charmant. Coin piscine impeccable. l'ensemble est très bien entretenu. L'hôtel fait également restaurant et on y mange très bien pour pas cher. A moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage et de l'embarcadère. nous recommandons vivement !

Bungalow immersi nella vegetazione. Mood thai....

Una breve camminata per raggiungere una lunga spiaggia.... E' una struttura tipica thai, fatta di bungalow ben distribuiti dove la privacy e' assicurata. La zona non e' mondana ma in 10,15 minuti di taxi si possono raggiungere locali e negozi.
