I book this hotel in 2014, i stay here for 4 days. Everyone here is so sweet and warmly. I remember the beautiful view of this hotel, remember the delicious food(i have a dinner with my wife in the beach). Buri Rasa is small, but you can do most everything here, reading room, relax room, fit room and spa freely. What i really remember is the service of this hotel, my flight leave Samui is so so early, but the hotel supply the breakfast for me and my wife. This is so warmly. After i back, i suggest my friend to this hotel in April 2014. She book two room for 5 days. She also said ’This hotel is amazing‘ Next time i come to Samui, i will still choose your hotel. By the way, the price of your hotel is rise so much compare with 2014.
My partner and I stayed there as our second hotel in Samui. The feelings were totally different than the former hotel and we loved it. We made the right choices to try different hotels in different locations. This hotel is located by Chaweng beach and we thought it could be busy and noisy. Actually, the spot of hotel location is not crowded, yet relaxing. We were impressed from the moment we stepped inside as it changed your mood from busy to peaceful mind. Lots of greenery and nice layout of building and structure. Breakfast was wonderful by great selections of dishes of Asian and Western food. My favorite station was the homemade Thai Tea stand. It was original and enjoyable when you watched them making the tea. We could not forget mentioning the staff at Buri Rasa!!! All staff went out of their ways to take care of us. They even remembered what we ordered for breakfast yesterday. WOW!!! We had problem confirming our flight ticket and they tried their best to help us got it happened. We felt that they really did it from their heart not by duty. We will come back to Buri Rasa for sure!
This is definitely a gem and I thoroughly enjoyed my few days here. I was traveling alone and right from check-in the customer service was flawless. The location is great to enjoy the shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious with a terrace/balcony that is truly stunning. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and offers plenty of choices. They took care of every detail during my stay and the front desk was always helpful. It was raining when I stayed, so I was not able to enjoy the beach, but it looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend Buri Rasa for families and hope to return soon for a longer stay.
We booked two rooms and stayed five nights at this boutique hotel. What we liked about this hotel: - Nice sandy beach - good location, close to many good restaurants on the Chaweng Street - Very friendly team. On the second morning after we arrived I complained about the loud music at night and they arranged another ocean-facing room for me. - Daily activities at 3pm in the afternoon which was a nice option to kill time for a bothering rainy day - Good breakfast - beautiful garden although a bit small - Spacious room and bathroom What we did not like: - Too many mosquitoes at the end of the rainy season although it is not just this hotel's problem. They did provide mosquito repellent but still... I have been to Phuket many times and never felt the mosquitoes there were such an issue to us. - The swimming pool was way too small. It looks like a pool for decoration purpose and I never saw any adults swimming inside. The so-called "children's pool" next to the "main pool" was a joke. My bathtub at home is bigger than that "children's pool". During our stay it was dangerous to swim in the ocean due to big waves and strong current. It's ridiculous that you find no place to swim in an oceanfront resort. - The pool bar next to this hotel was very noisy even after midnight. For the first two nights it was difficult for me to fall asleep. If the room is not far from the road the street noise was also annoying. To be fair it is not this hotel's fault but light sleepers should be warned. - Check-out took 5-7 minutes to finish as the housekeepers need to go to each room to check if we have taken or damaged anything. We had an early morning flight to catch and settled the bill the night before, but we were still kept waiting for 7 minutes as we booked two rooms. - They put a folded cloth bag with their hotel logo on your bed every evening, making it look like a complimentary gift from the hotel. Before we left we took it to put our dirty clothes inside. After the housekeeper checked our rooms the receptionist asked us to return it as it is not free. So in the hotel lobby, with an early fight to catch, we had to open our suitcases, find that bag, take everything inside out, give the bag to the reception and put everything else back into our luggage. What an impression left to us after our five-nights stay at this hotel!
In feb 2013 we visited Buri Rasa Koh Phagnan. The place charmed us with sweet and caring attitude. Once we started to make new holiday plans to Asia, we wrote to the hotel to book a room in Samui island. To all our questions were answered directly. Every day they were interested how we have been and offered help in any issues we would need. They cooked absolutely tasteful oatmeal for our baby (21mos old) every morning we needed. They set up our beds every evening while we were out of our room and left some handmade local sweets for us with nice letter with good night wishes. At New Year Eve they left present to every room and at Gala Dinner they gave away a lot of presents to all rooms ( dinner coupons, spa treatments, sparkling wine etc). We loved to stay at Buri Rasa village samui very much and would recommend it to anybody ( traveling with kids, couple, friends etc). We wish to Buri Rasa team all the best and a lot of success!!!
we stay in Thailand for our summer holiday! the resorta was not so big with very nice rooms. they paid attention to all the details from the mornonf with a various breakfast till the evening with different choises for dinner. clean beach, nice concierge. it s in the middle of Chaweng, useful to go outside in the night for walking around.
Our very first stay at the Buri Rasa could not have been more wonderful! Everything, from the lovely, always friendly and helpful and above all highly professional staff, to the super well kept amenities, the pool, the beach, the restaurants, to the cozy rooms, was simply amazing. The spa is small and very clean and the hot stone massage heavenly. We spent 5 days at Buri Rasa and would easily have stayed another week. Alas, we had to return home, which after such a wonderful vacation was not the easiest thing to do. We even took the cooking class, which was much fun and super delicious. They gave us a CD with a bunch of lovely pictures afterwards and the recipes to take home. We will for sure be back!
My husband and I stayed at Buri Rasa for 4 nights to wrap up 2016 and bring in 2017. I'd rate it 10 on 10 for hospitality and ambiance. The staff was very friendly, polite and willing to the extra mile make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel also offers a nice promotion wherein you can get 30% discount if you pre-pay within 24 hours of check-in; worked well for us but only feedback would be for the staff to improve the communication around the usage and amount outstanding. A proactive/daily update would be very helpful to avoid any last minute confusion. Location is also quite convenient if you are looking for a centrally located boutique hotel with a nice beach and many shops (plus night market) and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also the food and cocktails at the restaurant/bar are really good - our favorites: rasa colada and phad kra pao. In terms of the room, we stayed in the deluxe garden court with dip pool. But honestly speaking it's not worth the premium you'd pay for the dip pool, at least in our case we didn't use it even once as there were just so many other better options to spend our time. The hotel is great for it's beach access and that's where we spent most of our time. Lastly, the spa is 8 on 10 but my recommendation would be to use it only for the massages, not the facial/meni/pedi. The Thai massage and foot massage were out the the world and the therapists are well trained. Overall, a place I'd totally recommend for a nice relaxed vacation by the beach accompanied with a wonderful Thai hospitality.
Lovely little hotel located in a beautiful place. Lobby is cute and small. Very cleaned. Everybody is absolutely lovely and polite. I've been helped a lot by the hotel stuff when I got sick while I was there. They were a life saver for sure! Beautiful beach Great food Loved the cooking class! Nice spa and pool Can't wait to go back
Although on a travelling budget, we decided to treat ourselves to a big seafood platter on Christmas Day (They took credit card which was a result). It was a perfect meal. The staff were very friendly, taking pictures for us and recommending what wine to have with dinner etc. The food was incredible, all fresh and lots of it! Although it was a bit expensive, if you want to treat yourself I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant!
