Convenient Kochi hotel

it is a well kept older hotel near the JR station. Typically small room, but still comfortable. Not much in the immediate area, but close to the train, tram, and bus station so it works out. Good wifi and a refrigerator in the room. I'd stay again.

Decent business hotel close to the station

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel itself was very clean and I had a very comfortable sleep. The hotel is a bit old but that can't be helped. The location is close to Kochi station and easy to access sightseeing areas. The only bad point was the check in process was very slow and it seemed to take a while to find my reservation, as it seemed everything was on paper. The staff was very friendly and professional though.

You get what you pay for

Had a tatami room with futons said to fit four people. Can't imagine how you would all with four futons filling the entire floor. The fridge didn't work and the bathroom door lock was broken. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hall lights turned low after 11 pm. It's a good option for a budget stay but nicer hotels within a few blocks.

This hotel is located in the heart of city, pretty convenient. However, the cleanliness for this hotel is not that good, looks pretty old and dirty for the carpet, and the bathroom.

Though this hotel is a bit shabby, it is tidily kept and the staff has good working attitude. Hence it is still worthy to stop over for one night. It is only a few minutes' walk to the Kochi Station.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. The good: 1. Nice location, close to the Kochi city JR station, a walk away from several Lawson's, not too far (about a 1.5km or about 20-30 min walk or 5 min taxi ride) from Kochi castle and Hirome Ichiba/Obiya Machi. 2. staff is really friendly and accommodating The bad: 1. The hotel itself is older so don't expect a 5 star building/facilities. 2. The bed is really soft so if you're having back problems, this place may not be for you. 3. No laundry service (unless it's formal shirts/slacks) except for a open coin laundry in the parking lot downstairs - go walk to Lawson's and pick up detergent that you can use for dry hanging and it's livable 4. The electric outlets need the key in order for it to work so you can only charge your electronics stuff when you're in the room 5. It's far from the airport - expect about 3500-4000 yen and about 30-40 min by taxi. It's much cheaper by bus. Overall: Not bad, would stay there again for the price but not recommended for those who are looking for a luxury hotel.
