The best in the Bay

The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. Summing up I would still say this was a very good hotel to stay on the island. It was a perfect place in a bay to swim,snorkel,and relax

Pristine Beach, Great Food, Nice Bungalow

Koh Kood Resort is an excellent choice on Koh Kood. For us the Seaview Bungalow was perfect. The staff ranging from check-in, breakfast, at The Deck were all great and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. The pristine sand beach is exposed during low tide, so the chairs, bean bags and benches of the deck make a perfect spot to relax all day. The food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. Lastly, the view is outstanding, and during the right condtions the sunsets are some of the best I've seen in Thailand.

Away from it all

n idyllic stay at Koh Kood resort. Fast ferry to the island about 45 minutes, met at pier and transported to the resort on the other side of the island. Accommodation was private and clean with a view of the ocean. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Easy to hire a motorbike or take a personal tour to see the islands other beaches and waterfalls.

Good midrange option on Koh Kood

I overall enjoyed our stay at Koh Kood resort. I think out of all the beachfront options I saw on the island this was the best value for money. The beachfront was one of the most beautiful and the deck with chairs was my preference for a day at the resort. If you want sand just hop on a bike and explore the many other beautiful beaches on the island. The dock was perfect for jumping off (though it needs some repairs and a little tlc), same goes for the hammock and swing in the water, very enjoyable just a little old. The resort needs to put some money into fixing up what they have first instead of building new bungalows. We stayed in a garden bungalow and while nice needed just a few things fixed. The door for example jammed and was hard to open, the bathroom you could tell was once really nice and now looked just slightly rundown, but again no huge deal. Housekeeping is a little funny, they truly don’t do much more than half make the bed and leave you some waters. The food I thought was decent, they had a good pad krapao, there are also many other restaurants on the island it doesn’t matter too much. The cocktails I thought were good, great mojito. Again I think you come to Koh Kood for the beaches and the one at this resort is stunning. And with the prices of other beachfront hotels this place really does offer good value for money, maybe not in Thailand but in Koh Kood, yes. I would go back :)

Overall acceptable resort, sea very warm and easy to access. A bit annoying to find sun deck chairs ‘reserved ‘ before breakfast and left unoccupied for much of the day, so not able to use for the odd hour when one actually wanted to sit there. The entrance to the property was off putting, being a junk yard. The rooms were very well appointed, good shower and air con.

We are obsessed ! It Has the beauty of a natural less populated resort and stunning blue water -we were spoiled with the Seaview cottage but even the ones in the back are great as everyone gets the same Ocean experience

Awesome 4 days.

It was awesome! Free kayak use. However, I would like to tell resort management that they need to work on landscaping a little bit. I understand the location but, walkways and lanai's are overwhelmed with shrubbery and trees most of which simply "block" the view. I did have an incident where I stepped through a dry-rotted board on the patio deck. I later looked at other decks and easy to see some of the patios are in need of repair. On a positive note, inside, the huts are roomy and comfortable. I would stay here again if I should return to Koh Kood. Also, the food was good and thanks to all the restaurant staff that helped make it a good stay.

Quick Koh Kood Getaway

Had a lovely 2 days, beautiful location, set in a secluded lagoon, hotel was great, food was great, service was great. Recommend without any doubts and hope to go back there again.

Lovely for relaxing with pure nature

The resort was nice place value for money .... helpful staff. The beach was lovely great for snorkeling . Also you can arrive at if you book a speef boat from trat better than the slow ferry. All round can't complain. Ps there's only one atm machine on the island so I was told.

À fuire Grosse erreur de jugement.. l’île état si belle, Je me suis fait avoir par les photos.. mais si vous n’êtes pas un influenceur local, passez votre chemin. Accueil et service inexistant pour nous, famille de français en recherche de calme et repos. Dommage car la plage est magnifique et il suffit de prendre un canoë, facturé en sup.., pour se rendre compte de tout le potentiel de la baie.

Bra läge i en fin bukt. Superfin solnedgång, härlig loungekänsla, inga försäljare, god mat, trevlig personal, fint vatten och strand. Möjlighet att hyra kajaker och sup för billig peng. Rummet var jättefint, dock var det öppningar vid taket från badrummet. Två små ödlor hittade sig in. Fanns även större variant av ödla, men inte på rummet.
