I thought I had booked a hotel room but was actually accommodated in what they call the annex which is more like an American motel. Your door opens directly to the car park. The room was small and hot. Worth £60 a night but not £200

Great friendly welcome and comfortable room, albeit there was (understandably) some noise which is to be expected with rooms attached to a pub. Breakfast offering was good with the staff to be highly commended for a very warm welcome to breakfast and general housekeeping.

Inordinate delay to order food. More staff in bar would be an idea Then long wait before meal arrived. Poor menu choice for one of us with dairy intolerance At the buffet breakfast, great chunks of bacon ie. individual slices not separated before cooking. Short on fresh fruit. Accommodation fine Reception staff helpful on where to visit in town Finally heartbroken when after only one pint of Black Sheep, run out!
