"The Eagle's Nest" is in a great location directly across the street from the beach! The location is close to The Kitty Hawk Pier. There are lots of restaurants in the Kitty Hawk area or you can adventure off to the southern end of the OBX (Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo) to enjoy what they have to offer. Duck is the neighboring village just north of us (10 minutes away), it is a quaint village which offers unique shops, restaurants and a boardwalk on the Currituck Sound. Duck is also famous for its biking and jogging/walking paths.

The perfect OBX vacation awaits you with "The Eagles Nest"! This charming Oceanside four bedroom/two bath beach cottage will not disappoint. This quintessential beach box sleeps eight. The floor plan features four bedrooms - two bedrooms and one bathroom are located on either side of the cottage, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. The family room, kitchen and dining room are in the center, which offers an open floor plan - great for gathering as a family. The kitchen is fully equipped including refrigerator/icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker and keurig. The dining room seats eight.

When its beach time walk directly across the street to the ocean! After the beach, rinse off in the enclosed outside shower.

Relax on the deck and enjoy the ocean view! The deck area offers a great opportunity to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon adult beverage, sun bathe or just visit with family and friends.

We also have a porch swing and picnic table area located on the ground level, near the enclosed outdoor shower. The laundry room is also located in this area.
Parking available for six cars. Key less entry to the cottage and laundry room.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and this house is great! It is literally steps from the beach in a quiet section of Kitty Hawk, yet very close to all the retail and restaurants of Nags Head and Duck. You can't beat the location! Our host was amazing! They were very responsive and attentive to our needs and the house had all the essentials. As first-time Outer Banks vacationers, we had the bad luck of it raining every single day of our trip and and we were unable to have a beach day before we had to fly home; cruel fate would have a glorious sunshiny day the next day, of course. But our host, on their own initiative, reached out to offer us an extension on our stay for one more day so we could at least have one beach day. We were blown away by their kindness and generosity and restored our faith that there really are good people out there. You will love the views of the ocean from the expansive balcony and the people in the neighborhood and on the beach were all very friendly. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended! Thanks again, "The Eagle's Nest!"

Location is everything. The house is across the street from the beach. Kitty hawk is much quieter than the surrounding neighborhoods. The kitchen is fully functional. The beds were comfortable. We will be back.

Beach Road Gem

If an old-school beach house steps away from the breakers sounds good, Eagle's Nest should make your consider list. It's not a "Million Dollar Mushroom," rather it's plain and simple, the way vacays ought to be. You've got TVs and WiFi, not that you should pay attention to either while allegedly trying to rest, a full kitchen, two full baths, four bedrooms, mid-century modern furnishings, and a short drive to restaurants and attractions. While we were there, the ancient DSL went kaput for good, and, at our suggestion, the owner opted to replace it with some blazing fast broadband and an upgrade to the cable service (yes, guilty as charged for paying attention to those things). The manager even comp'd two nights for the inconvenience when the interweb went out. Great people to work with. Overall experience was excellent, so we'll be back.

Everything was wonderful. The cleaning company didnt come before we came, I reached out to the property manager and she responded very quickly, offered for someone to come, refunded the cleankng fee and gave us a giftcard to a local restaurant. Stuff happens and she dealt with it quickly. Would definitely come back

The property is good for 2 families. There are 2 individual areas divided by the living room and a kitchen. There is a short walk to the beach. Nice place for biking. The grocery store and Walmart are 5 minutes to drive. The refrigerator sounded like it was going. It could be an issue soon. The screen door closer needs to be fixed. But that did not affect our stay. We really enjoyed it.

Nice little getaway to OBX

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was accessible to everything we needed whether shopping for gifts and/or food. Groceries you have you choice of several places to stock up for the week. The access to the beach was just a short trip and we were on the beach tanning and enjoying the beach life! There is no linens provided so be sure to bring your own sheets and pillowcases as well as towels and wash cloths. Utensils were not a problem as they had all that we needed already there. Hope this helps with your decision to stay here.
