Villa SANTOURAKI is an amazing private villa located in the western part of the beautiful island of CRETE.
It is close to some wonders of the island: the beach of fine white and pink sand of Elafonisi, the lagoons of Balos, the monastery of Chrissoskalitissa, the gorges of Samaria.....

Located on a hill in a small hamlet, it offers a spectacular 180° view on the azure sea as it stands only 500 m away from the sea.
It is particularly appreciated by people looking for peace and communion with nature.
Built with Cretan local stones, the villa has a 12-m swimming pool, a garage and a beautiful garden planted with Mediterranean essences.

It can accommodate four or even five people. It has 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom each, a large living room and an open-plan kitchen, all with sea view. The living room is equipped with large glass windows which face a large pergola located directly in front of the swimming pool. All rooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning.
Inside, all the necessary comforts are offered: for the kitchen: refrigerator, hob and oven, washing machine... ; for living: Internet, television, home cinema, CD and DVD Player....; washing machine..

A few miles away, there are supermarkets and taverns which offer local specialities at very reasonable prices (Afretoulakos, Livadia, Stomio, Chrissoskalitissa....).

A stunning house in a typical environment... simply the best way to spend a relaxing family holiday

We spent two weeks in Crete this July and we chose Claude’s house to stay. Claude is a real gentleman always ready to give us good advices on solitary and unspoiled beaches, and typical tavernas. His house is far beyond what we expected. Surrounded by olives trees and with a stunning view over the sea, it is a peaceful place where our two children could have great fun diving in the pool when my wife and I could have a glass of wine staring at the incredible sunset... some of the best beaches such as elafonissi are just 15-20’ minutes away driving, the nearest town where you can find tavernas is about 10’. Claude came a few times to the house, always very discretely, to be sure everything was running well. I think I could highly recommend this place and his owner to anyone in seeking for a functional but relaxing place, full of any comfort but at the same time embedded with true Cretean flavour.
