Herons Rest was a wonderful place to stay for our vacation. The house is comfortable and clean and accommodated everything we needed. Close enough to everything around town and offered numerous opportunities for vacation fun inside and out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Heron’s Rest. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. The ladies really loved having a washer/drier upstairs and downstairs. The host was very quick to answer my texts. I would really recommend this place to anyone and we are for sure coming back.

Amazing Lakehouse for Big Groups

the property was very clean when we got there and it was a very comfortable stay for me and my friends. would definitely recommend for big groups looking for a getaway outside of Austin!

Ecellent Stay at the Lake!!

Our group consisted of 10 adults and 4 teenagers. We all had a great time! We enjoyed the upstairs porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. The kids loved the pool table, ping pong table, and kayaks We all had a blast playing cornhole together! The outdoor firepit was very relaxing at night. The place is super clean and the neighborhood was great. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Place for Boating & Jet Skiing

This is a great house that has a lift for a wakeboard boat AND two jet skis. Perfect for our family. We have stayed here three years in a row now. The only thing missing - STILL MISSING - is some shades on the upstairs main room windows so that you can watch a movie in the heat of the day and avoid the glare / reflection.

Better than a Marriot

This place was amazing! The accommodations were more than expected. It was so nice to relax by the fire, have a place to park the boat, and enjoy time with friends and family. We want to come back every year! It was well worth it!

Very nice house

Very nice and well equipped house. You don’t need to bring anything. A lot of fun stuff available in the house and backyard to keep everyone busy.

Great House, Perfect Location

We had a group of Dads/Daughters for our annual trip and chose to stay close to home this year. We had a great time playing in the water and enjoying the house and huge yard with games and overall fun. The pictures definitely did the house justice and the bunk room for the girls was perfect. We also took advantage of the marina and restaurants close by for food and lake toys. Thanks again for the use of the house.

This house is great ! We enjoyed our stay. We were there when the Llano river flooded July 24, but we received great notification from VRBO and the neighborhood folks that guided us to protect our boat and the dock area. I'm thankful the area got needed rain and it was interesting to watch the river rise. But...it would've been nice for it to have waited a few days !! :)
