Air conditioner said 60 degrees but we still felt like it was warm and muggy in the room.

The room was large and clean. The air conditioning worked. The TV was nice. Good water pressure. Convenient location to the freeway but not noisy. Nice continental breakfast buffet. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but we had little interaction with them. I would stay here again. Goof halfway point from Los Angeles to San Fran

First off, the manager on duty was rude, not pleasant at all. Didn't even ask for ID or license plate numbers which doesn't make one feel very safe. The room was borderline clean- urine around toilet, smelly towels, etc. The coffee maker had no carafe or basket so even though they offered the option of making coffee in your room, it was not possible. The heat lamp & fan in the bathroom would not go off once switched on so spent the duration of my stay with bathroom door closed. It was really hot in there when I did need to use it. Also the smoke alarm beeped ALL NIGHT, sometimes every hour, sometimes more often. I tried to remove it from the ceiling, figuring it needed new batteries but it was hard wired. And completely pointless. All in all, not a good stay and I won't stay here again.

This was much more than I expected for the bargain price. Right off 101 but quite, close to services and food. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful with local recommendations. But the big surprise was the room: very large, clean, and well furnished. I had plenty of room to do my exercise routine, which is not the case in many more expensive places.

We stayed here while visiting the Pinnacles National Park. It's a good location for approaching the park either from the west (via 101 & 146) or from the east side (via G13 & CA 25) where the Visitor Center is located. CA 25 is a beautiful road, and the distance to the east side of the Park from King City is only about 40 minutes. The motel was very comfortable, there are eating places within easy walking distance, and the motel staff were very accommodating. We had some trouble with our room door key, possibly because they had just reprogrammed the door locks. An expert came immediately to fix the problem immediately (and cheerfully), and the key worked just fine after that.

We had read the reviews and usually take them with a grain of salt, but the room was better than we expected. It was clean, roomy and very comfortable. the location is at the entrance to San Lorenzo Park which prvided us with an enjoyable walk after dinner. We will be staying there again when we return to the area.

The desk clerk who I assume was the owner was rude, and standoffish it. I had to check out at 3:00 to catch an early flight out of Monterey and he was sleeping somewhere behind the desk and refused to come to the door when I wanted to check out.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The flat screen TV got a lot of channels. The breakfast was good with waffles and assorted cereals and fruit.

safe, comfortable, clean, recently redone, nice staff. Best place in town to stay.
