Room was fine, toilet wouldn’t flush without holding in both flush buttons together and holding for a number of seconds. Reception staff very friendly, bar staff courteous but breakfast staff indifferent and a terrible buffet breakfast. Food was cold, asked for fresh eggs twice as chef brought them out and took back as there old congealed miserable eggs under the heater.

Overall the hotel is nice. Maid service needs improvement.We arrived the shower gel in the shower had about an inch of soap. The next day it was empty and was not refilled. Each day we had to ask for coffee pods as the maid didn't refill it. Lots of little things needed improvement.

Room spotless, staff attentive, good amenities, breakfast excellent, great to have the addition of takeaway cups for the coffee machine. Only negatives are the corridors looked very tired and in need of updating as did some of the furniture around the foyer. I'm lead to believe a refurb is planned.
