Upon arrival, the room we stayed in was missing the door number sign, so it made it a bit of a guessing game as to which room ours was. Once we found it and went inside, the room had a terribly strong bug position smell and aside from that, our chief complaint was the thickness of the walls. We were in Temple because my husband had an appointment with a specialist at the Scott and White Hospital next door and had to be up early; around 1 am either someone checked in next to us or returned back and were terribly loud. We could hear conversations in full detail, music playing, and anytime they opened or shut a door. It definitely made for a long night. We choose to stay at this hotel because it was pet friendly and we had our dog with us, so while we felt inconvenienced in one way, we also realize, we would have been inconvenienced at other places as well.

I loved that the room was so nice despite the cheap price!! I would have liked a heads up that the room was very near construction but my husband and I really enjoyed our stay!
