This is my second stay. I was there last year in the fall. As always i had a great time with my dog. He was living his best life running the trails and chasing the deer. Only downfall were the high winds the one night which kept us inside. But the owners checked in frequently and enjoyed the gas fireplace. The peace and quiet is just what i needed to recharge. Hoping to visit again this fall. Highly recommend if you are looking to relax and enjoy nature.

Our dog loved it! There was a bed for her by the fireplace and extra pet supplies if needed. The hot tub was super clean and very relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We had a wonderful weekend!

I did not use the hot tub but the cabin was quaint and cozy. Very clean and loved sitting on the deck watching the squirrels and visited by deer. My dog was living his best life runnimg the trails. If you are lookimg for a little piece of Heaven then visit. You wont be sorry.

This is my second stay in Ethan's retreat a love this little cabin in the woods. Relaxing and quiet. The dogs love the freedom. It's peaceful to seat on the porch and Amish isn't far away. We'll be back!

Family Getaway

Ethan’s retreat is a country setting that’s great for family time and relaxation. We had a wonderful time ! Property is clean and comfortable. My only negative would be that the couch is very low to the ground and has staples on the back cover to keep the fabric from coming loose. For the price I think an upgrade is needed . I’m only mentioning because I recently had knee replacement surgery and it would be difficult for an older person to get up. Despite the couch, we would definitely return ! Our grand littles had a blast ! We had hot tub time, had breakfast at the picnic table with farm fresh eggs and Amish bread and bacon, played games, made a fairy garden and bee bath. Walked the trail and had some delightful family time ! Plenty of wildlife to enjoy and a great location for star gazing !

Cozy hidden gem

I have not stayed somewhere so beautiful in a long time. The surrounding woods are vast and lovely. It was snowy during our trip and everything was picturesque. The cabin was bright clean and warm. Everything was comfortable. The hot tub on a snowy evening is memorable. I would love to visit again in the summer. My dogs LOVED it! Such a peaceful trip! THANK YOU!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed besides food. Hot tub was squeaky clean and a fantastic addition to the experience in these chilly months. The owners were kind, courteous, and prompt with answering any questions we had. Cell phone service was limited but enough to send out calls/text if needed, just no social media (which is what we wanted!). Definitely looking for ways to return in the warmer months to explore the trails out back.
