Sea Captain's Cottage 2; Oceanfront Cottage Court

Sea Captain's Cottage Court is s grouping of Four Dog Friendly Cottages (SCC1, SCC2, SCC3 & SCC4) located on the oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills. These homes can be rented together for larger families or individually for small families. Sea Captain's Cottages offer a shared laundry facility, park grills, walkway to the beach, & a dune top gazebo.

This Carolina Classic Beach Cottage is what a stay on the Outer Banks is all about. Designed for small families wanting to focus on time together enjoying the beach which is merely steps away.
Linens (bed sheets and bath towels) as well as 2 beach chairs are provided.

The private walkway to the beach is for all guests of The Sea Captain's Cottages. Please note that a flight of stairs must be climbed in order to access the beach and the dune is a bit on the steep side. Perfectly fine for most, but those with knee problems or elderly persons may find it somewhat difficult.

Located on the Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, the Sea Captains Cottage allows you to literally walk out your front door to the beach. No packing up the car with gear and driving around looking for beach access parking. The cottage is close to shopping, 2 grocery stores, quaint coffee shops and many wonderful Outer Banks restaurants.

You will need a car. Uber and Lyft services are available on the Outer Banks all year.

Keyless entry makes checking in easy for our guests.
Each cottage is provided one (1) parking space, no exceptions.
There are 2 additional "guest spaces" on property that are shared by all 4 cottages so availability cannot be guaranteed.
I love doggies however guests must notify prior to booking of what type you will be bringing (please note the $75 pet fee). Should you wish to bring a second pup an additional $50 pet fee will be required prior to arrival.
Must be at least 23 years of age to rent this cottage.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a coffee maker.

This is a great little beach cottage, perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen and living area was a great gathering space for games and movies at night. The bedrooms provided plenty of space for us. The bathroom is a great size especially for a smaller house and the water pressure in the shower was great. The beach access right from the house is a little overgrown and therefore difficult to trek with beach chairs, bags, and such but the beach access just down the road at Eighth street is only about a 4 minute walk. Having outdoor showers to rinse off sand was great and the shared laundry and beach items is such a nice amenity! Whitney was responsive and friendly in every interaction! Thank you!

This was our first time renting a house on VRBO. Also our first time taking our dog on vacation with us. The host made everything easy. She was great to work with. This place is just steps from the beach. Location is excellent, house is great. Has an old-school charm that we loved. We will most likely be back here in the future!

This is a clean small cabin with a vintage feel but all modern conveniences. Easy short walk to beaches pier taverns and restaurants. The owner is prompt and responsive.

Great place, great location, great host!

My family and I had a wonderful visit at the Sea Captain's Cottage! The cottage was clean, a short walk up and over the dune steps to the beach, was equipped with everything we needed, and Whitney was a wonderful and communicative host. We enjoyed it so much we even added on an extra day, and Whitney was very helpful and accommodating through that process. Thank you for a special beach trip my family with remember forever!
