The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but utilitarian. Those are the positives. On the downside, the property is showing its age, as evidenced by the attached photos. The air conditioner in our room was so loud that it drowned out the television. The sidewalk in front of our room was uneven (see photo). If I had known these things beforehand, I would not have taken a room.

Amazing stay! Linda was AWESOME! She went out of her way to keep us updated on Hurricane Erin -got the green light and luckily enough we were able to keep our plans for our vacation and stay at the OBX Motor Lodge !! Great oceanfront location and super clean! Decor is definitely more upgraded than others at the price !! Linda, you rock and we hope to see you in November !!

It was perfect for the price. Booked on a Thurs evening for Friday and Saturday. Very nice Motor Lodge with great access to the beach and a very nice pool. Everyone was very nice too.
