Everything about the welcome and check-in procedures went great and were first class. All the basic essentials we required for the bathrooms and kitchen (from paper towels and toilet paper, to wash cloths and soaps) were outstanding as well. Bathroom towels and beach towels were top notch as well. Much of the furniture was lovely, new looking and clean as well. Knives, cutlery and dishes, beautiful and new.Unfortunately, there were also a few specific issues we noted. Not in any particular order - 1) There were 6 pillows in total to accommodate the Queen bed and the pull out couch. All 6 pillows were identical, and best for back sleepers. It seemed unusual there wasn't at least 2 pillows to choose from of different weight and compression to accommodate another sleeper types. As a result my wife and I struggled with sleeping.2) The bedroom A/C is old and the fan has seen its better days. The loudness didn't help with our sleep challenges. 3) The 2 beach chairs were great and we appreciated them, but there wasn't a beach umbrella to make the day at the beach 'complete' and a little more enjoyable without the direct sun exposure.4) The Mr. Coffee machine in the Kitchen was very old with a broken lid and needed scouring to clean before we could first use it. 5) You could tell the rugs in the family room and bedroom were lovely and fairly new, but we were surprised at how dirty they were and in need of rug shampooing.
