I think the location is great. They gave almost every amenities except a cooler.

We loved our stay here and it felt like home away from home. We will definitely stay here again. The place was very large, nice and updated. It came with everything we needed like kitchen utensils and even beach stuff, which was definitely a plus. The only negative was that there was an ant problem in the kitchen, so it was impossible to have any kind of food in cabinets. We tried to store stuff in the microwave, but they found it in there as well.

Very spacious and clean, AC worked perfectly, pool and hot tub were clean and well taken care of. The property has a very nice and convenient location, walking distance to the beach, shopping centers, rental shops and casual restaurants. They don't housekeep during your stay or change towels, bed sheets etc, so you have to keep garbage out, wash your dishes of course. Very nice kitchen, and every single utensil that you might need for cooking and storing/carrying food to the beach (Tupperware, cooking pans, etc..) They also have to borrow things that you can bring to the beach, like towels, one pair of snorkel gear, a boogie board, sand toys, a small cooler, folding chairs... The have a ironing board and iron, hair dryer, washer and dryer were very handy during our stay. Very pleasant experience, thank you.
Property is clean. Pool staff unfriendly. Their staff had punch/lacerated a vacationer face while he also rented the condo their. Very inappropriate staff behavior.

This property is walking distance to two beaches if you stay in clusters A, C or G. Otherwise, I'd drive, specially if you have little ones. We stayed on cluster C. The condo was spacious for us and had enough beach and bath towels throughout the week, they had two good beach chairs (there were a couple that were broken) -it was nice that they had chairs though. The unit we stayed had shampoo and conditioner in the master bathroom and cleaning supplies too. What I think they could had more were trash bags, since we were required to take the trash daily. The doors, specially in one of the bathrooms needed cleaning, I spotted a few smudges in the living area bathroom door. Otherwise, the condo is pretty clean and well maintained. The mattress in the master bed had a few bumps and the pillows could be better, you can sleep on it, specially if you spent the entire day doing Maui activities, but could be better though. The pool area was great, right outside our condo, which a shallower and deeper end. The spa was too hot though, no one could get in for more than a few minutes. 104F in a hot spa in Hawaii is just too much. Besides the few details I mentioned, overall this condo is pretty good and well maintained, would definitely go back again.

Main thing - this is a condo housing, not a resort. On-site amenities are limited (no restaurants/cafés on site, just two pools which value is questionable given the ocean); living style is more isolated; pretty distant from active attractions. Probably good for big parties and/or longer stay, but if you're coming for short bright vacation, keep looking. Geographically very close to the ocean, however, the property is fairly big, and located on the hill, so if you happen to get distant unit, be prepared for driving to the beach (especially with little kids and swimming stuff). Bottom line - it's overall OK, but when paying $1K+ per person for short vacation package, probably makes sense to pick more upscale place.
