We loved our stay! The beach is so close and so beautiful! We loved the grass area in front of condo as well. We were not expecting so many shops restaurants and more within a short walk! Management was so responsive and helpful! A perfect location we felt!!

Beautiful property, very quiet and relaxing.

Even with the condo changing owners in the middle of our stay everything went very smoothly. Great view and near by restaurants.

AMAZING VIEW!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was so cute and I loved that I could make dinner and look at the ocean every day. We ate on the lanai and also downstairs by the water. It was so close to everything we needed. It was quiet and secure. Will return here again on a future visit!!

Lovely property

Views from the property are lovely. The complex is laid out well to maximize the view and not feel overly crowded. The management company is excellent. They remain interactive and available from check in thru check out.

Spring Break 2016

Perfect place to stay in Kihei. You can walk to everything. 36 unit building felt very cozy. Jeff maintains the property very well and is very inviting. Can't wait to go back next year.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our six night stay at the Kamaole Nalu property. We woke up and headed straight out to the beach (just down a flight of stairs and you’re in the sand) for a swim and/or snorkeling. We saw sea turtles and fish on two mornings and walked across the street to the numerous restaurants for meals. The unit was clean and spacious and was well stocked with a gorgeous view. We loved going to bed listening to the ocean. It was a perfect stay!

beautiful location

Beautiful location. Coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. Managers were responsive. No air conditioning, so I would imagine it gets very hot in the summer. Lots of good restaurants nearby, but be warned--reservations are essential, sometimes months in advance

Best Location! Amazing condo

This is our second time at Kamaole Nalu, This unit was fantastic! The views from Lanai, bedroom, kitchen is unbeatable. Able to walk to the best beaches. The grassy area overlooking the ocean is simply the best. Kristina the property manager is wonderful. All'i Resort is so professional, best communicators. Immediately responded to getting a new coffee maker and any other need we had. So amazing. Was hard to leave Highly recommend! thank you to everyone :)

Lovely vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It isn’t 4 star hotel luxury, but it’s perfect if you want an amazing view, easy beach access, a lovely grass area and places to eat and shop nearby. We had a couple issues with the condo when we arrived and management was quick to resolve. Our only complaint was the wind every afternoon from noonish to 4 ish. I guess this is the windy side of the island and summertime is super windy. It kept us from getting too hot, though! I was so sad to leave our balcony view. We had a really great stay.

Great location!

This condo was literally on the beach. You could snorkel to the right and see turtles. You could snorkel to the left and see turtles. Tide pools to the left also. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the fact that the elevator door had to be pushed opened to get in and out because it was having issues, the computer and printer that was available to us wasn’t working and the cleaning people did a shotty job at best before we checked in. Other than that it was a great view, the staff was friendly and the condo was just what we were looking for.

family vacation

Was a family trip to Maui. It was centrally located for all the things that are there to see and do while on Maui. the condo had all the space we needed and well stocked not counting food. The Kamaole Beaches are so nice for walking and swimming, the snorkeling was right out in front with turtles and lot of colorful fish to enjoy. The grounds were well taken care of and the Ali Resort staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the sunsets from the grass in the evenings they were awesome. Yes it is an older unit but being right on the beach made up for that and ours had been up dated The waves braking on the beach were somewhat loud but it was a good loud. All in all is a good stay for anyone who want to be right on the beach when your in Maui and the Kihei area. Looking Forward to going back soon.

Excellent Location and Accomodations

It was our first time in Maui and I was looking for a place where we could play in the water, snorkel and be within walking distance of restaurants/stores, entertainment, etc.. Essentially a place where we could relax and feel on vacation. This property at Kamaole Nalu offered everything we were looking and we are happy to report that it exceeded our expectations. The pictures displayed on VRBO site about the property are accurate. The view setting is absolutely stunning and we already miss sitting on the beach in the evenings sipping on the glass of wine and listening to the waves. The property can easily accommodate a family of 4 and it comes furnished with everything a household needs. The Ali Resorts staff is extremely helpful and they take excellent care of the grounds and tenants. Everything is within walking distance. Depending on preference, you have a choice between going out and searching for entertainment or staying indoors. We've done both and each choice is just as fun. During our 2 weeks stay, my teenage sons took full advantage of the beach and swimming pool. Being part of the property grounds, it made it really easy for them to snorkel and watch turtles directly from our beach. Overall we all had an excellent time and can't wait to go back.

The unit was just average

The unit was disappointing. The building is very old. The day that we checked in, we got stuck in the elevator for more than 30 minutes and by the time the elevator door was pried opened, we were all soaked in sweat! The unit was smaller than we had thought looking at the pictures. The bathrooms are pretty small. The sofas and blankets need good cleaning. Do not leave any food out because you will be inviting tons of ants. Also, do not leave the lights on at night because you will attract tons of bugs (even though there are screens over the windows and the sliding doors). Because we left the windows and the sliding door opened all day (since there is no air conditioning), by the end of the day, the whole place was covered in sand. So, we wiped the entire floor each night before our children took their showers. The washing machine needs replacing! We tolerated all these discomforts because our host, Pat, from the Alii management company, was so friendly and accommodating Pat dropped off a bag filled with Hawaiian snacks for our boys for not having a meltdown in the elevator! The property care taker, Jeff was also very nice. When we called regarding the fans and the ants, they responded immediately. Although we would love to use Alii again, we will not be renting this place.

Beautiful location with ocean view

This place was a beautiful place to stay. While it didn’t have air conditioning, for the most part leaving the windows open and fans on allowed the place to stay cool. It got a little hot during the heat of the day, but typically we weren’t there during that time. The ocean view is incredible, and it’s a 1 minute walk to a beach. The check in process couldn’t have been easier. The host provided us with towels, beach towels, beach chairs, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge, dishes, and even some chocolates as it was our honeymoon. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!
