Cottage on Kiawah, this private, end-unit Greenslake cottage has renovated bathrooms and kitchen and a large picture window overlooking the golf course! Conveniently located in Kiawah's West Beach Village, the cottage is a short walk (and even shorter bike ride) to the magnificent Kiawah beach and community pool (seasonal).
The community pool (seasonal) offers bathroom facilities, and is located halfway between our cottage and the beach. Perfect for a cool dip after a fun day at the beach. You can watch the golfers play on the first hole of Cougar Point Golf course from our screened porch, living room, or sun deck. Ten miles of pristine sand and surf will make this a vacation to remember. Kiawah Island is a golfers’ dream come true - five championship courses, including the world-famous Ocean Course, home of the 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships. Parking right in front of this single story cottage makes loading and unloading a breeze. There is a new king bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the guest room. Great location. Convenient to pool and the beach. The property could use some work. The beds were very uncomfortable and in need of replacement, same for the couch. In the primary bathroom the sink, toilet, and shower did not drain properly. A storage closet had mold coming through the ceiling. Overall, the property has many deferred maintenance issues that detracted from our stay.

Great Spring Break!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay on Kiawah in this comfortable Greenslake Cottage! Everything was fresh and clean when we arrived. Contacted Susie with a couple questions and she was super responsive. It rained a bit and we had plenty of room to relax, read, watch TV, do a puzzle, etc. Kitchen has all you need. Our rented bikes made most locations a short ride away, like the beach, Mingo Point kayak output, and Night Heron Park. We didn’t end up bringing our dog but loved the availability of that option. You wouldn’t know it was pet friendly by how tidy everything is. Overall, a great stay. We hope to get back to Kiawah and would make this Greenslake cottage our home base again!

Good location, home could use some updating

The home is centrally located and walkable to the beach, about 10 minutes and the community pool. Having never stayed on a golf course before I will say that there is a lot of mowing, blowing early in the morning. Susie was very responsive when we had a question and we were appreciative of her promptness. T he home was spacious feeling for the 4 of us but honestly, there wasn't enough seating for 2 adults and 2 kids. There is 1 small couch that is very saggy and 1 small chair that is also quite saggy. There is a screened in porch with a small patio table that only seats 2? I'm not sure about these furniture choices but I ended up going to sit in the bed because the living room furniture was so uncomfortable. The home is also in need of a good deep clean, there were cobwebs, even a vine growing inside, and dead bugs just not up to the level of cleanliness that is expected.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The renovations were nicely done, and definitely elevated the overall vibe of the unit. The neighbors on the street were all very nice. The walk to the beach was easy, even with children and a wagon full of beach gear. It was great, and highly recommend!

Wonderful first time visit to Kiawah

Our family booked a last minute trip to Kiawah and were lucky enough to find this great cottage available. It was perfect for our family of 3 and so fun that we could bring our dog along. The cottage was spotless, very comfortable and just as described online. Susie was so easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. This was our first trip to Kiawah but we hope to return soon and would definitely stay in one of Susie’s properties again. It was in a great location on the golf course with an easy walk to the beach and pool. The kitchen was very well equipped but we chose to try some of the great restaurants in the resort. We had the best trip and stay in this lovely cottage.

Kick’s it in Kiawah!

Nice property, roomy, doggo friendly, but the best part was Susie! Susie I would without one single doubt have you represent my property, you are FABULOUS, and your artwork isn’t bad either! (Nice paintings) Thank you for all of your prompt responses and help with all things Kiawah and the house. If you’ve never been to Kiawah you need to go, bike paths for days and safe and well thought out how to construct them, dark park fun family activities, pools to play in, and the BEACH! I had never experienced such beautiful, clean, beaches, and you can ride bikes right on the beach so fun! No one on top of anyone! We got to see Loggerhead Turtles born and make it to the ocean, just amazing!

Beautiful cottage for a perfect family getaway

Cottage is in a great location, close to golf and beach with friendly neighborhood. We stayed with our 2 small dogs for a week and we throughly enjoyed our stay with daily short walks to the beach. Susie was very helpful and informative throughout the rental process and quickly responded for any questions.I highly recommend for anyone to stay here. We will be back for next year

Perfect Winter Getaway

This was our second two week stay at this cottage and the place was as wonderful as we remembered. The location can’t be beat, at the end of a quiet court, off of a little travelled road. An easy walk to the beach. The furniture was comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated. Starter supplies are always appreciated. The cottage was very clean. My husband and our two dogs couldn’t have been happier. Thanks again Susie!

Great getaway

We enjoyed the ability to walk to the beach, cook fresh seafood and walk to the clubhouse for great dinner and drinks. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with us and not being charged an exorbitant amount extra for him.
