Radisson Hotel Khajuraho4.0 out of 5.0

We'd expected a bland anywhere-type experience from the Radisson but it was lovely. Three mongooses playing on the lawn in the morning, they live in the flower bed apparently! Take a trip to the Panna wildlife park if you can; we saw tigers.
A nice and affordable hotel with all the required amenities of a 5 star hotel. Front desk executives highly cooperative. Spacious, well appointed and nice rooms. Food quality excellent with variety in buffet.
The Radisson Jass is a good hotel which is just outside Khajuraho temples. we can easily access this place from temple if we have no conveyance. It has good view and the staff are very cooperative . they are very caring and leave no place for complain. We stayed there with friends and enjoyed a lot.
This hotel is in a pleasant setting although the room I was given 169 was in need of updating I had a comfortable stay with a good night sleep. The swimming pool is a great size with a nice patio area. Buffet was limited but what I had was tasty.
I've been coming to this hotel over the last five years – and everytime I went it it got worth. AMong the so-called 5 star hotels in Khajuraho this is certainly the least I'd rate 5 star. Rooms got a bit shappy, staff is so so and food way to expensive for what it is. Also the pool area isn't really "clean".
Its a very nice hotel, courteous front desk including all other staff members, have been taken utmost care by the staff. Overall very joyful experience. From the location standpoint, Radisson is closely located to the western and other temples and had lush green surroundings where bird chirping is soothing. Food was delicious and having south Indian food outside ( pool facing) was a joy. Cycling arrangements were healthy and nicely thought of. Last but not the least flute and tabla instrumental was relaxing and much thought of during evenings. Commuting to other temples is easy, as auto and cycle rickshaws or taxi's are easily available. It is 10 min drive from airport and about 20 min from the railway station. Western temples can be reached on foot if you are like walking:-)

The hotel has all the amenities one would expect, and the rooms are comfortable enough. But the bathrooms are soon to qualify as vintage, it seems, and the bed sheets, comforters and pillows, although clean, feel like they have been in service for a few years too many. The staff is attentive and helpful, and although the service isn’t as sophisticated as in the top notch hotels I have visited in India (a high hurdle, I agree), it goes out of its way to please. The food is a real let-down! The Indian food is not as good as what MP Tourism offers in its spots, and the western food may soothe the very home-sick, but without art. The lobby, the bar, the pool side are pleasant and fine to relax between the morning temple visit and the evening ‘sound and light’. I would return, but I would also set my expectations lower than they were. Yet, with a bit of investment in equipment and training, the place could be absolutely lovely.
Overall, the stay was OK. Staff on hotel floors were gracious and checked to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. Restaurant dinner staff was a bit off..not focused on the customer. Hotel manager made effort to compensate for dinner issues by discounting bill 20%. Hotel selected by OAT for Heart of India trip.
