Radisson Hotel Khajuraho

Given the high rating, we were expecting a hotel that was better than many other luxury hotels. After all, Radisson is a very reputable name. On the plus side, the lobby, grounds, and restaurant/food were very nice. However, our room was dated, especially the door to the patio, the bathroom amenities were meager, and the bathtub was dangerously slippery. The WiFi was out of order, also. The location is a-ok, but a taxi is a must for leaving the hotel. In sum, this Radisson was ok, but nothing to brag about.

Arrived after a long drive to be met by very pleasant and professional staff. Nice hotel good rooms. To relax we decided to have a massage. Wow, if you stay in this hotel go get a massage. Best ever, relaxing, professional and real value for money.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the temples. The management kindly upgraded us to a suite which was extremely comfortable. The hotel is modern with a lovely pool in the garden and great food in the restaurant. The staff was efficient and helpful. The location is near the temples, however situated in a quiet neighborhood.

This is a big propery which is very well built, maintained and operate. The room and bathroom are very neat and spacious. The interior of room is excellent with all modern furnitures and stuff. The staff was very polite and courteous. The swimming pool was very good and clean. There is a very well maintained garden around pool area. The buffet breakfast was wonderfull with a wide spread for vegetarians. The hotel is located very near about 1.5 k.m.from main temple complex. However the food and drinks at bar were very expensive.

My sister and I stayed at the Radisson Jass before starting our tiger safari and it was a good stop. Our room was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Staff members were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed shopping at the small arcade next door. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Although we didn’t visit them this time, I understand that the Jass is very close to the monuments.

We were late arriving from Jhansi but they held the dinner buffet open for us at 10 pm. Staff attended to our every need. Outstanding breakfast. Beautiful grounds. A great base for our visit to Khajuraho temples. Late checkout no problem.

I generally prefer smaller, independent hotels to chains like Radisson. However, the Jass was well positioned: handy for the airport, the wonderful temples and a short tuk-tuk ride into the town. (We popped in to see the dance festival when we were there). I was also very pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had more character then I had anticipated and that the service felt more personal than corporate. The dining room was a buffet layout (with a pasta station, too), but the food was better than average, with plenty of choice and the combination of self-service and attentive waiter service (for drinks etc) worked well. Breakfast also offered plenty of choice. Our room and bathroom were clean, plenty big enough and with all the facilities you'd expect of a large chain: tea/coffee, hairdryer, toiletries, luggage rack, etc. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We only stayed one night, but would happily stay again if we went back to Khajuraho.

One of the best hotels on our trip to northern India - clean, modern room with a good bed, very quiet, enough outlets for our electronics. The bathroom is rather small but did have a good shower with hot water. The buffet was very good at both dinner and breakfast where the staff was very friendly. The lobby, grounds, swimming pool and spa are all excellent, plus the hotel is only a few minutes from both the airport and the western temples. There is also an interesting shopping center right next to the hotel. Overall this is an excellent place to stay in Khajuraho.

Stayed here while visiting the Hindu temples nearby. Clean room with bed and pillows of good quality for a restful sleep. Air conditioning and air quality in the room was excellent. Everything worked which is more than I can say for many hotels in India! The restaurant food and table service was very good. I was sick at the time and the kitchen made me ginger tea from proper boiled water rather than hot water from the tap. Pool was properly maintained and wonderful after a long hot day. Not a single complaint about this place - wished we could have stayed here for a week.

Attractive gardens, helpful staff and a comfortable room and bed. What more could one want? Well perhaps a view of something other than a cement wall! Many of the rooms face the garden/pool but many others look onto the wall.
