Nice place, convenient, on the canal

Clean and close to everything. Friendly staff and guests, and our dog enjoyed making new friends too. We were directly across the canal from Sharkey's Grill, and you may hear the locals having a great time from your room at night (we checked out that place for lunch, and recommend it as well).

Excellent stay! This beautifully updated townhouse was perfect. The downstairs living area, fully equipped kitchen, and half bath were so convenient — we especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the marina! The upstairs bedroom with a king-size bed and full bath made it extra comfortable. 10/10 — would definitely recommend!

The rooms have 2 levels. There’s living room and kitchen downstairs. The couch downstairs makes into bed and then the main bedroom is up stairs. If you have a friend that snores you can get away to another bedroom

Infested with bugs

Our room was infested with bugs. When I spoke to the front desk they told me that because I booked with Hotels.com I have to contact them for a refund. The pictures are from the bed we were sleeping in. We woke up at 12:30am because we felt them in our bed. By the time we got moved to another room we did not get back to bed until 3am. This was not a restful night. The hotel denied Hotels.com permission for a refund stating that we left the windows open and that is why there were bugs in the room. We explained that there are 3 stages of bug life present Larva, mature bugs and dead wings shedded. The picture show this. You can not get larva, live bugs and dead bugs from leaving a window open (which we also did not do). This has become a blame game and a maze of calling for resolution after not sleeping last night and while on vacation.

Looooved this property! So much so that we booked another night after the first (we were going with the flow on this trip). It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the a/c was perfect (I always get hot at night but did not have that here. Huge win!). The balcony faced the water and we could hear live music playing at the restaurant across the water. Lots of iguanas on the property, as well as lizards (not inside though). The pool was small but pleasant. Very impressed with this place. Highly recommend!
