We had our wedding in the Dingle Skellig in February and it was incredible. The staff are amazing. The wedding was flawless and the food was wonderful. Karen, Greg and Danny went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a great success. We picked this hotel for the customer service and excellent food. Also, it was very important to us that children attending the wedding were welcome and they had a ball in the leisure centre and kid's club. We spent 3 wonderful days in the hotel and we highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Thank you to all the staff who made our day so memorable.
Went to a big family wedding here and it could not have been more ideal. The kids were kept totally entertained with a great pool and a movie room, the bar restaurant was great, as a wedding venue was beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing. Has a wonderful massage in the spa which I can highly recommend... the view from the retreat relaxation room is incredible... would love to visit again in the summer
The hotel had not long opened after the winter period. The hotel room was clean and all the comforts were there. My father had a superior room and he had a good view over the sea. We had dinner in the bar my meal was good, but my dad had a chicken curry which he said could have been better. However, we had a lovely breakfast, with such a wide selection and that was very good. Staff friendly and very helpful. Great Location.
From the moment we stepped inside the door we were made so welcome by the receptionists espically Caren who was so helpful in every possible way. Our room was amazing overlooking the beautiful Dingle Bay. The best breakfast in Ireland, wonderful friendly and helpful staff, spa and hot tub spectacular, we will be back, John and Berna.
Stayed here for two nights from 14th to 16th was a very pleasant stay the staff were so welcoming and could not do more for you. On Valentines night had dinner in the Coastguard restaurant , free glass of bubbly and a red rose on the table for the ladies to take away ( nice touch) also the food was excellent. I have not stayed here for a while but the rooms have had a very nice upgrade since my last visit. Overall the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice , will definitely visit again.
We attended a wedding (Sean and Sharon) and have to say that the food was outstanding. From the presentation of the food through to the quality and taste. We could not get over the fact that so many people had to be fed at the same time but yet the food tasted like a top restaurant that was cooked just for an individual. We even had a wedding guest at our table who was a chef!!!! He gave us his insight into each course and he was more than impressed. He also said the portion sizes were very generous. And the friendly service that ensured we got as much as we could eat. The views in the hotel are breath taking and lots of opportunities for fantastic photos.
Attended a winter wedding here. Beautiful scenery and a superb meal. Staff helpful and friendly. Location beautiful. All in all a great weekend. Would recommed it for a weekend break. Relaxing and peaceful place
We stayed in the Dingle Skellig last Saturday night and overall we were happy with our stay. The room was clean but could do with some modernising. The paint and fixtures were tired and worn in the room but still not terrible. The big let down was the corridors which were dirty and very worn. The area around the lift was appallingly dirty. The staff were very nice on the front desk but unfortunately the staff in the breakfast room on the Sunday were not very friendly. A big change since our last visit a few years ago. This hotel seems to have lost its luxury factor.
We stayed here a year ago and it was disappointing to say the least. What a difference a year makes. The re-furbishers have been busy over the winter months and the place looks and feels so much better. You can feel the atmosphere has improved. Newly re-furbished rooms are excellent with everything to a top class standard. We had a problem with the cold water tap and I hardly put the phone down when maintenance was there to fix the issue. Food was always good here and seafood along with local lamb are top on our recommended list. This is a family hotel and kids are around. But that is fine and they make the place all the more likeable. Absolutely can recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Dingle. You won't be disappointed.
stayed at this hotel with another couple and from the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed by the staff ! The room was clean and comfortable . The breakfast was amazing ! and the view from the hot tub breathtaking ! Love this hotel !
