This Two bedroom townhouse is located in very peaceful neighborhood on dead end street. Just 7 minutes drive to the Valley Regional Hospital, Michelin Tire Waterville Plant, walking distance to Scotian Gold, close to restaurant and town. Short distance to elementary, middle and high school. The Harvest Moon Trailway (110-kilometer trail that connects to the towns of Wolfville on one side and Annapolis Royal on the other side) is on the backyard of this property. Closer to Acadia University Wolfville, Agriculture Research Station in Kentville. Aylesford Lake, Halls Harobour, Look Up, Scot's Bay, Cape Split trails, Horbourville are just the name of few tourist attractions nearby places.

When entering the house there is a smell. The kitchen cupboards were filthy all around the pulls. Same with the door handle on the refrigerator. The coffee percolator definitely needs a clean.The host promptly answered our message about the heat as the house was very cold.

The address I booked (Kentville) was not the address of the property (Coldbrook)! I will start with the good, the beds were good with newer mattresses, thankfully. The shower was newly redone and was good; however, the bathroom smelled like people had smoked there. The home does not have a Air Recovery unit and smelled musty which was our biggest complaint. The house does not have a dishwasher, which for me was not a big issue but for others it may be. The patio furniture was old and dirty and was not something you would want to sit out on. The property has potential with a little work, poorly painted (specks of paint all over on the floors) and they need to do a deep clean and replace the old rugs. The only smoke detector was not working and the lock on the back door was not installed well; therefore the door would not lock automatically and would need to be adjusted for it to lock, which was a pain when coming in and out and having to wait to see if it would lock or need to be adusted. The property was listed as "Exceptional" but for the price we paid, it was far from it. We actually booked a night at a local hotel during our 4 night stay because we were not happy with the musty smell (we could only find 1 night available or we would have book more nights, essentially paying double for accomadations). We were there for a wedding, so we were not at the property much, so it served the purpose of a place to shower and sleep.

Coldbrook Townhouse.

This property was very suitable for two couples. Beds were comfortable, place was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t do any cooking there but the kitchen appeared to be supplied with sufficient cookwear and flatwear. Property manager was very good at answering our inquiries.
