The room, property and staff were friendly, helpful and informative and the junior suite was clean, quiet and very large with separate kitchen and dining table. The breakfast, pre-packed fresh pastries and fruit, was enough for my breakfast and lunch (good for day trips). The hotel was convenient to the castle and town center for me, but its location up the hill from the harbor may be difficult for those with walking limitations: sidewalks can be steep and roads must be crossed without crosswalks or traffic lights.

Wonderful Oasis

The hotel was a wonderful oasis in the middle of the busy town. There was lthe picturesque Old Town so nearby and great restaurants close by also. The staff was very warm and kind and the suite was wonderful. The breakfast was so good with so many fresh local breads as well as fruit and yogurt and eggs.

Excellent Hotel - our second visits and wont be the last… the rooms all individual are extremely comfortable and well designed. The staff make this hotel go from excellent to beyond! The breakfast provided for eating in the larger rooms in room facilities is perfect mix of local products - variations changing daily…with only seven rooms it feels like being at home due to the personal touch of the hotel and staff. The only place to stay in Kavala.

Anthemion House was unique in every sense. From arrival to departure, we were made to feel so welcome! Rooms were very special, perfectly proportioned and well laid out. Breakfasts were freshly prepared and alternated daily. Just a perfect base for Kavala. Would highly recommend and would be my No 1 choice if we were to return. Thankyou ALL!!

We had an amazing stay at the Anthemion House. Everything was perfect. The building was amazing, the interior design was very cool. We stayed at the Deluxe Room, it was very spacious and smelled wonderful. The management and staff were very polite and helpful. We loved the breakfast baskets. The location is walking distance from the main attractions. I had a very relaxing time in Kavala thanks to the Anthemion House.

Renovated house in the heart of Panagia (old town)

Great renovated beautiful house close to the Aqueduct, in old town of Kavala with a parking space (very rare here), so helpful staff (I am sorry I did not remember her name), the recommended restaurant by the Reception lady was really good. Clean and nice bathroom, so comfortable bed and linens in double room. Reception is working by 9 pm, but they have a solution for their guests. Complimentary tea, coffee, water in the room, a box of Kavala cookies was a sweet touch! I believe the breakfast will be very good too. Highly recommended!

Beautifully designed and decorated room. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the center and main attractions. Although it is on a busy street, it was quiet when you closed the balcony door. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stairs to the room were a bit difficult to climb with luggage.
