The host was fantastic. Good response time with questions. Property was very well taken care of. Beautiful views of the ocean. Very clean, we had a great stay in Molokai.

great place for a large group

good for kids. The only draw back is that the neighbors will preschold you just by looking at you. Needless to say they did not like have teens as neighbors but we were only there for two days and were out during most of the hours. Iwould stay in this unit again.

Switched units prior to arrival

We stayed in molokai for 8 nights. Lodging on the island is pretty limited. On the day of our arrival, we were told the unit we reserved was not available and we'd been placed in a different unit without a dishwasher. After a couple of days I revisited the original unit listing and realized how much worse our alternative accomodations were. The screens were broken, so the unit was easily overcome with bugs. The kitchen was much worse, in addition to no dishwasher. The unit had no amenities and terrible furniture. I personally extracted 3 cockroaches from the place. Messages to the unit manager were met with unclear responses depending on who we reached. At minimum id like a partial refund to make up for the quality difference, but so far VRBO has been impossible to contact.

Perfect sized place, but management could do better.

Perfect sized place, but management could do better. I love Molokai, and this place was perfect for our family of 6 for the weekend. Master had king bed, second bedroom had full and loft had 2 twins and a day bed. We had to carry in the plastic lawn chairs from the deck to all sit in the living room, but we enjoyed the pool and putting green. Good location between town and Hiro’s restaurant, but the road is noisy for the guest bedroom at night. BUT it took us 20 minutes to get into the lock box when we got there, there are no bars of soap or hand soap of any kind, the toilet in the guest bathroom broke and the shower in the master bedroom was not clean upon arrival. There was no info booklet so we had to find the internet password on the bottom of the server, and the maintenance man had to tell us the code to the pool: 87905. We had a great time, but recommend that management makes sure the lock box works well, the toilets work, the apartment is clean, and the information book is available with internet and pool passwords. Thanks!

Great ocean front condo!

Overall this stay was wonderful! The unit was well-appointed with an ocean view. The unit has no AC but there are ceiling fans throughout and a great breeze off the ocean. And the lanai is lovely with lots of seating options. It is also nice that it is a top floor unit so you don't have the noise of people above you. Some of the furniture is different from the description- for example the description has multiple seating options in the living room along with a photo of a large wraparound couch. It looks like that has been removed and now the only seating at all is a small couch. There is no dining table and no barstools. Also, if you plan to cook there, you should know that there are no cooking staples: no salt and pepper, no oil or spray, no tinfoil or saran wrap, no tupperware or ziplocs, no coffee filters. So, you will want to stock up on everything at the store.

Molokai Shores

Condo has a great view from the balcony. We saw multiple whales just outside the reef. The property is well maintained with nicely kept grounds, well maintained swimming pool, and user friendly barbecue area. Be prepared for the roosters (not as loud as Kauai) and a bit of road noise in the early morning hours. The bathrooms were roomy and clean and had an abundance of hot water.

We love the unit the last time we stayed in it this time it was not as clean and we all had bites looked like spiders also there’s not enough seating in the living room Some of the dishes were put away dirty we would love to use the unit for our ministry every year and now we are taking about coming 5 times a year if it’s cleaner we plan to do that
