Miscommunication on check in for late check out. Staff could not accommodate late check out for additional $25, but by hotel policy at $25 per hour. So, we checked out in time and hotel didn’t make any money from us. Saw only two other guest there. THATS WHY THERE WERE ONLY FOUR CARS IN PARKING LOT. PROBABLY FOR THE EMPLOYEES.

Sold an ocean view No view when I got the room. When I asked about the view at the office the girl said “oh, this was “third party” Expedia. They should have said “partial ocean view when on the outside deck”. Ripoff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The king bedroom we stayed in was spacious and had full kitchen utensils, pots, pans, microwave, fridge for making simple meals. Our room was # 215, an upstairs room which has a nice view of a garden area from the outside lanai area; and a bit of the ocean view. Across the ocean we could see Lanai island in the distance. The staff was also very friendly. Close to the small town area (5mins by car); 20 minutes from the airport. We would stay here again when coming to Moloka’i in the future.

Overall not worth the price

The location was nice. The staff was friendly. Overall nice set up. My biggest issue was the checkout time. Check out was at 9am and it cost $90 for a late check out time of noon. They charge $30 per hour for late check out. I was aware and paid for it, but that's the worst late checkout policy I've ever seen.

Get away to Moloka'i

We have lived on Oahu and wated to see parts of the islands we have not seen. Moloka'i is beautiful! More importantly, we felt like a welcomed part of the community from the moment we met our driver who transported us to the hotel ( shoutout to Moloka'i Outdoors) to check in through our stay. The nightly local musicians at the restaurant were all wonderful and the view of the sunset is awe inspiring!

Hotel Moloka’i is a nice place to spend some time at. Location is incredible and also close to the major town that offers breakfast, lunch and a couple of grocery stores. The staff is amazing. Always polite and helpful. Rooms are however run down and the fact that the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast is definitely a minus. Restaurant options are also very limited. It would be nice if the beach in front of the hotel was cleaned up and sorted as it is amazing but the smell and the rotten seaweed kills the atmosphere.

I would love to review the property …. But unfortunately my flight there was on Mokulele Airlines (the only air carrier that flies there) and they grounded all their flights for days due to negligence of maintenance. Shame on them for wrecking our vacation and not offering us any compensation other than a refund. Shame shame shame on them.
