Fair deal compared to the properties in the area.Gym is paid attention too.Courteous staff and very home like place. Centrally located and quite prompt on service delivery. The Bathroom is relatively small but fair enough when you are the one staying.
My stay experience with Hotel Radisson was wonderful. I could use all the facilities and there was no problem at all. The hotel was very accommodating to the last minute changes which I appreciated a lot. Also the service and the hotel personnel were all very helpful and approachable.
Let me begin with the biggest advantage of this hotel: the swimming pool is just amazing. And for some reason or another, almost always deserted. But a swimming pool is a big plus in a city as KTM. Apart from that, dinner facilities are ok, but acoustic insulation could be a bit better. We arrived at 9 in the morning and immediately got a room, which was also very convenient.
We stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel. It was good. Food - [we are vegetarians] - tasty and not expensive at all. Very good ambiance . Not an expensive hotel. - surprised. The Breakfast - indian stuff is also served. Overall - 7/10 krishna
We spent a few days in this hotel following an amazing trip to Kailash and Mansarovar and Himalayas. On a number of occasions when approaching the hotel staff on reception it appeared that we were troubling them and their manner was cool at best and unfriendly and rude at times. When asking for charger facilities they were dismissive. The choice of food in the restaurant was not great without much choice and definately not up to the standard I would expect in a hotel of this standard. However, one of the staff members made amazing ginger tea which made our breakfast much better.. The nicest part of the hotel is the spa and especially the ladies in the hair and beauty section who were professional in reception, very friendly and accommodating of timings for treatments, clear ideas about what we might like and although I can't remember her name the hairdresser was great.
Indeed Radisson, Kathmandu lives up to its rating. Was there for two weeks on a business trip and I enjoyed their service. The hotel has Warm and friendly staff who were flexible in accommodating requests. Was in their new wing and the room was very clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. I enjoyed their buffet breakfast and the meals at The Terrace Garden. Got to sample the pastries at The Pastry shop and my sweet tooth was well appeased. Having experienced Radisson hospitality in other countries, I like that Radisson as a brand is also able to replicate standards and even room design to some extent across countries.
I have travelled to Kathmandu several times in last two years and every time have stayed at Radisson Hotel new wing. Staff, hotel and services are very good. Their physical fitness facility, swimming pool and whirlpool are not very clean. I found Sunam, Elisha & Bijal in reception/front desk area very good and helpful. Also, Om, Dipak & Krishna doormen were very good. Top Man from maintenance was also exceptional. Based on staff and facilities in the new wing I will always go back to this hotel when I am in Kathmandu. Thier staff in Tranquility staff and services are also very good.
We started our yatra to Kailsh from Katmandu. We stayed at this luxury hotel. The hotel is located in a busy area of Kathmandu and easily accessible from the airport. We were picked up too and the drive is around 20 minutes without any traffic. The place is really huge with two buildings housing the complex. Large spacious car parking facility. The rooms are really big and is almost equal to a suit type in other hotels. All facilities in the room are of 5 start grade. There is a nice roof top restaurant too. Several halls and business center are the hall marks. The quality of sleep and the beds are all really good. These are the positives. However, I felt that the service levels were not really upto the mark as compared to the same chains hotel around the world. As for example, it takes ages to get an Wifi to get activated. The service in the restaurant was also not to that mark. Felt they were understaffed at the restaurant. The food was the lowest point and personally I felt it was not in line with most star hotels. There was very little local variety and the food was not tasting all that great too.
Arriving at 3 in the morning, I was met with an amazing warm welcome by several members of the staff. The room was delightful with a lot of wood that gave it a good feel for Nepal. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with fare to suit any range of ethnicities. There is also a find restaurant there, unfortunately named The Olive Garden which may not appeal to Americans. It is not related and I recommend this one highly. There is also a second building for the hotel across the parking lot, with a spa and a fantastic roof garden.
This hotel in city center, foods/Room/staff qualities are good. Hotel has casino in the ground/basement floor. i was watching first time, nice time to spend here and learn the casino game. Few KM away from pasupathy temple.
