My husband and I stayed here for four nights, and I must acknowledge the staffs. Extremely courteous and helpful. Especially housekeeping guys- for always being on their toes and front office for taking care of all our needs. Overall a good experience but the size of the rooms were smaller than expected.

Lovely, clean hotel. The staff were really nice - the food at the restaurant is great. The rooms are a little tiny (like the manhattan boutique hotels), good view of the mountains from the room, really clean bathrooms, rooms. Its about 15-20 mins from the hotel..if its peak hours it would take double the time. I had the hotel car pick me up/drop me off so no issues finding it. But I heard of others (locals) who didnt even know of this hotel. Its a really narrow road that takes you to the hotel. Will stay there again should I visit Nepal.

Pleasant stay. Rooms slightly small but comfortable. Rosni and sanjana were very helpful and courteous. Overall staff was good. Very convenient location Thamel is just short distance. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Short ride to airport

This has been one of my most comfortable trip due to the excellent people over here. Manager Mr.Sujit always interacted with the guests. Staff Roshi always followed up with guests in a friendly manner and they were all very happy. The Chef Mr.Deepak was so sincere he checked with all his guests to make sure the food and service is good. At front desk Ms. Pooja and other staff Sajana were all very helpful. I would recommend anybody visiting kathmandu to book this hotel. The only con, they still don't have a roof top lounge. But the lobby area is very nice with outdoor and indoor facility.

Have stayed at Fairfield Marriott Kathmandu at several occasions now. The quality of service has been consistently good. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The location is good - close to Thamel and Durbar Marg Some people might find the room size a bit small but was fine and functional for me.

Not sure why but could smell a stench upon entering the room.. Called reception and they said they'll send someone to spray air freshener. That worked for a short while. When we entered the room after dinner, the same smell was in the room again. It's smells like sewage. Not sure if there's anything they can do to fix the stench but putting customers into rooms that smell like this is a fast way to lose business.

I had the pleasure of staying at Fairfield by Marriott during a recent business trip to Kathmandu. It was the perfect example of Nepalese hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, often made me wonder if I was staying at a 5 star property. Wouldn’t be doing justice if I didn’t mention of Ms Roshi among other staff who are truly the flag bearers at this property! Great for stays of both business and pleasure. Can’t wait to go there again.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying for 4 days / 3 nights at this property. The hotel is located in the tourist area close to the colorful markets, The Garden of Dreams, and many restaurants to choose from. The rooms are functional and don't have any special views, but they more than serve the purpose of a clean, safe, and comfortable place to call home while visiting Kathmandu. The breakfast buffet is delicious and truly varied with Chef Deepak personally walking around throughout the meal and asking if everything was what you expected. The kids absolutely loved his mango lassi. What set's this property apart from others is simply how amazing the staff is, from the doorman to housekeeping. I would especially like to thank Pooja from front office management. She absolutely made the stay extra pleasant and when you expect management to take full responsibility and pride in their role and property - she defined that attitude throughout the whole stay. Sujit as the restaurant manager along with Chef Deepak made not only breakfast great, but the other meals we had and Navin as the afternoon front office manager made sure our evenings were comfortable. I would not hesitate staying here again and while there are larger and newer Marriott properties being opened in the coming days, I don't see how they will be able to provide the personalized experience the Fairfield provides.

You can’t beat great service in nice, comfortable surroundings. The hotel staff in the restaurant deserve a particular shout out, especially Chef Deepak who created tailor-made dosas and omelettes and crepes for me every morning and delivered them in person to my table. I will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic team from check in to the chef in the Kitchen. Awesome breakfast and the restaurant team can't do enough for you. Highly recommend this hotel which is just a few minutes walk to Thamel. Will definitely be back.
